Master Carbineer, Rifleman 0404, Master Marksman, TKA 4304
RIfleman gives you a nice long AoE dizzy and some nice defenses. Master Marksman gives you +5 carbine speed which if you have 85 speed from tapes will allow you to cap anything with anything (+85 still doesn't cap the high end damage sliced and poweruped dxr6s). And TKA for the meditation and defenses.
Also once force sensitive trees come out you can drop master marksman and possibly pick up some more defenses, or maybe drop TKA and and one of the rifleman trees and maybe pick up some doctor for poison cures.
Just checked on the builder, you could go Master Carbineer RIfleman 0004 (still get the dizzy) and Doctor 3440 for poison cure (not disease
), decent buffs, and rez.
What do you think? Think the top template is alot better than having 3400 BH and better than melee stacking?

Ah, just remember the Devs really boneheaded decision to make a 5 second timer on gun switch. Although I suppose I could fire the AoE dizzy with a speed sliced spraystick or something accurate that I can cap and while I wait to switch back to carbine I could fire a surpressionfire or two.
Another thought would be to get 0044 in rifleman instead to get Startleshot2 which isthe onlyposture change up. Oh man I hope they nerf the 5 second timer. I know there is a separate 30 second timer on KDs and PostureChanges, but does posturechangeup count as the same timer as posturechange down?
That would be fun. See a group of enemies, spam flurryshot2 a few times to get a nice long dizzy on everyone, switch to carbine and fire Actionshot2 then chargeshot2, and switch back to rifle to fire startleshot2 on anyone thats kneeling but not KD'd yet. Switch back to carbines and fire burstshot2, wildshot2 (for stun), and maybe a few fullautoarea2s (hopefully to get some blinds on).
Oh, that would only work nicely if they don't add the 5 second timer. I think I'm going to do this. I'll probalby miss BH's accuracy, but I'll just have to take more citros. Also I make my own carbines which haveat least 80 to ideal range (elite carbines have 95 to ideal). And I got rifleman's dizzy to make up for the loss of confusion shot.

Just noticed how inaccurate I'd be with rifle, so if you modify it to:
TKA 4004
Rifle 4043
Would give me 140 rifle accuracy which should let me hit the dizzy often enough with citros. I'd lose melee mitigation II though, so maybe going TKA 4304 Rifle 4004 but then I'd lose posturechangeup.
Oh well, 2 weeks till I can log in SWG again so I got time to decide. Maybe I should just keep BH so I can get 215 accuracy and not have to worry about buying a load of speed tapes....

I've tried other builds myself. My current character was originally going to be master carbs, commando 0040, with the rest in TKA. But as always I hit master carbineer and decide I want more carbine skills.

I'd never use rifles to actually damage, just use their very nice states to amplify carbineersAoE KD powers. I want to be sure this is a smart idea before I do anything. It'll be very hard to drop so much invest xp, especially when jedi are about to become more numerous too.

Don't worry about it. I dont use like 4535 suits of armor like you. I already have +10 in my shirt, and I can put another high one into a bandoiler, and then I can put some into gloves and boots which don't decay as fast. Hopefully by the time the boots and gloves decay there will be the FS trees so I can pick up some more speed.

You'll benefit more from not having the posture change up shot. It is pretty useless and you would be much more suited to get 4004 rifleman and get the 4304 TK as well.

Ok, I was using the damage calculator and put in a 250-700 T21 with 97 rifle speed. The raw pre-AP DPS is 3500... Using a 130-550 speed caped Laser carbine and crippleshot its like 2500. Headshot3 which is a relativly low damage multiplier has 2500 dps even... I'd feel so dirty though if I mastered rifleman, but think about it. AoE Dizzy, then use carbine for AoE KD and Posturedown, then back to strafeshot... No.. too dirty.. Must... keep... carbines...
