Well, glad you did well. I'm just kind being my picky self, I've got too much free time at work to think about stuff like this. I do think you came up with something pretty good though,I'd hate to be getting hit by you, most people stick to energy as it is
. The thing that I still need to try, haven't because I can't find any
, is compare damage pup damage and elemental pup damage with the Nyms on a couple of different kind of ovp targets. You might try that for yourself too. I have a hunch that the damage pup will be better, but hell, I didn't even think that Nyms was that good until alittle bit ago, so I could be wrong on that too. Yeah, def. let us know what you find out though, this is an interesting discussion...

Is a very interesting discussion. I finally settled on the speed slice 100%. i stick a sac pup on it and it hurts Jedi, i mean really hurts them. I have an uber energy elite carb and that does less than half the damage the nyms does, obviously, when not wearing a PSG i switch to the elite, but as a first strike, the nyms really cuts the mustard. i'm going to get another couple of these and slice 1 for damage, and then slice for critical....no need to carry around pups for every occasion, carry around a Slug for every occasion, problem sorted ![]()

Went to get my 172 acid damage nyms sliced with 353-706 damage range pre-slice, the smuggler told me it was already above the damage slice cap, and he couldn't even do the first slice for damage. Obviously I went for speed.

Status report, my carbine now looks like this, with PuP and all:
Attack speed (unmodded): 1.98
Damage: 305-649
Accid Damage: 219
SAC: 83
A single legshot on a Jedi (not sure which build, but PvP proven) results in 561 points of damage per shot, of those 142 accid damage. If that's good or not i leave up to you, the weapon is now ready for some serious field testing with me...
