Dueling is one thing I guess, how do you fair in General PvP, when you have 2,3, 5 people hitting you at once and do you deal much damage since you can't individually armor break everyone?

For me i'll usually give the group burst run to let them tank. Then i'll select one target, hit volleyfire and let loose full auto and spray shot. Usually i'll incap a few before melee/jedi run towards the ranged fighters. Then i'll switch between suppression fire and full auto. When the enemy is close let loose leg shot, critical shot, torso and full auto.
