Thread: Petition to fix Elite Carbine

while you're busy looking at the elite carbine, don't forget to look at our specials. a lot of them (even the 'fixed' chargeshot2) are at LEAST as lacking as the elite carb.

I have nothing to say, I agree with everything above. Oh I do have one thing to say, yes a knockdown timer was needed, but why don't you wait to fix other areas before you nerf our best attack.
Rifles get massive damage
Pistols get un-godlike speed
Carbines get... what?

I think the only way for the Devs to ever notice the problems with our profession is by sending up these petitions and keeping them at the top till they are noticed. I know the Devs probably don't check out our forums that much but I know they have to look sooner or later. Now we all know how crappy the Elite is to the Laser Carbine and for something thats called Elite, the way its set up now it should be more of a weapon given to you at Marksman lvl. Either they should fix it where Laser Carbines are considered our class weapon or they should actually improve on the supose Elite Carbine. I personally would love to see it given a AR3 and kept at the same damage lvl or at least given an AR2 and increase of speed would make it an interesting toss up between it and the Laser. Come on everyone we need towhine and complain just as much as the pistoleers and rifleman and maybe we'll actually get requested improvements and changes on our weapons.

I will sign this, but I think all of our weapons are underpowered compared to the other combat professions.
