Easy,
As a former Master Pistoleer there are only 3-4 working specials.
Fan shot - awesome - x5 aoe cone can hit 1 sec speed cap at master
Health shot 2 - bleed
Stopping shot - x6 damage single target attack slow shooting (consider broken - it does not stop anything)
PistolMelee Defence 1 KD on timer.
Guys that is all that works, all the other specials are broken or not working as intended.
Disarm 1/2 broken they do nothing
Bodyshot 3 - lower DPS than bodyshot 2 from marksman tree
PistolMeleedefence 2 - no KD high ham - broken
Dive shot -
doubletap - ok but a low DPS
Multitarget pistol shot - broken supposed to be an AOE attack
And the other attacks do not work or are worthless. They do need to have some effect added to a shot.
I am also working on master Carbine, so easy on the flame.
ok, working specials that are useful.
cripplingshot-way slower than any pistoleer shot. you guys have more speed mods +already faster guns, but it does have a 7.5 damage mod
scattershot2-7.0 mod, hits all 3 pools, pretty nice special for taking out buffed people
chargeshot1-**edit** this kicks ass! ![]()
burstshot1-fast, high damage, for little HAM.
all other specials are broken/completely redundant.
as a retiring pistoleer i can tell you they are not strong at all.... at carbine 4 i am doing the smae amount of dmg as master pistoleer but at a slower rate (about 2.5 seconds instead of 1.5) and most of our specials don't work they include: disarming shot1(dosen't disarm anything uses HAM and does smae amount of dmg as a regualr shot except against lairs); PMD2 higher ham then 1 no KD and about the same dmg but with a 7m range; Disarming shot2 yes they did take the AOE KD away and 4got to give ti to carbine, but they left the AOE so now it does same dmg as stopping shot too 1 target and makes all the others aggro u and randomly chooses to hit them at times. MTPS completly broken, a bunch of Worrts almost killed me when i was using this cause of high ham andlow dmg. yes we do get a lot of great defences but everything good in pistoleer is crammed into the one line (best specials/mitigation/defences). so yah carbine is pretty bad off and dosen't get much attension but don't assume causepistoleer is asking for more stuff means they are given lots of attension, the other profession pistol moves are the ones with the attension the only thing they did to us was put a timer on our KD and remove ourAOE kd....

ok, paragraphs are your friend... and so is punctuation, reading that almost made my eyes bleed.
The point is, pistoleers are less broken than we are (no, i'm not kidding or making things up) and they are asking for abilities that when they do get fixed will make them far too powerful. They already have it better than carbineer or *gasp* pikeman.
I'll bet that some pistoleer will come in here and complain that pistoleer is more broken than pikeman... then we can laugh even more! ![]()

Yep. I had to jump the fence from Pistoleer to Carbine thanks to the all powerful "Farce" playing with me via little blue boxes. I've been a Carbineer for, like, a day, and I can already tell you that y'all got the short end of the stick. Sure, the max damage on Carbines is higher, but they're slow. Even with a 35% speed slice they're slow. And these specials? Um, like, no. I haven't jumped all the way in, but I'm willing to bet from what I've been reading in this forum, that it's going to get worse before it gets better....
I know criticism from cron monkeys isn't what y'all want to hear, but if you can find a reason why NOT to become a Pistoleer, more power to you. Pistoleer Specials (except the broken ones) are WAY better andaren't anywhere near the HAM costs, not to mention you don't look like a clod when you run. If someone can explain to me what makes y'all wanna stay Carbineers, I'm all ears.
Don't get me wrong, I see a little light at the end of this tunnel, but I'm guessing it's a train.

Um, I'm kinda embarrassed now. Let me get this straight. CS can be spammed and doesn't suffer from 30 sec kd rules?

I am not speaking for all carbineers, but I'm a carbineer/bh carbs. That's why I'm keeping it ;-)

I believe there has been a few threads on this...
If you shoot only CS, then you will imobilize the Krayt and he won't be going anywhere. But the damage is crap, it will take you hours to kill it. Buffs would wear off, not to mention it wouldn't be very fun or worth it. You wouldn't even have a chance to move or take your eyes off the screen or you'd be dead.
If you wanted to kill it quicker, you'd have to use crippling shot and bleeds. But in order to do that, you wouldn't be shooting CS to keep it pinned and it would kill you.
Not really possible to solo a Krayt, even with CS.
