Thread: which is better? burst shot or cripple shot?

even with a -%33 speed powerup you would still need a 1.33 speed carbine to fire cripple shot at master, which i find really dumb

that's why bh dabblers (or bh's who are carbineer dabblers) have it made. the carb tree in bh has +80 carb speed by itself.

dabble in Bh carbine - it's well worth it.


You will spam crippleshots - like a pistoleer,


Me and a friend who was pistoleer/bh pistols/smuggler - were fighint along side each other, and we shoot at the same rate - even specials.

Well, please everyone, correct me if I'm wrong...


Generally, cripple shot damages the action pool.


Burst shot always hits the health pool.


So it's kinda nice to have both.


Then finish em off with scattershot 2 if you can't decide which pool you want to hit.

i thought they were both random pool damage.

but if cripple shot is action hitting it would be better as it could work with our bleeds

Yes, it hits a random pool. There is no distinction.


I've had much luck using full auto single 2. It stacks a blind with a stun, and does decent damage at good speed. How come noone has mentioned that?



Hey why is it every other profession has a master skill, yet not Carbineer. I'd like to see a good Full Auto Area 3 in the master box? I mean have you seen Strafe Shot for Rifleman? Thats CRAZY damage.

My favorite shot is full auto single 2 also...Its a lot faster than cripple with nice effects (stun blind and dizzy wen dizzy gets fixed) and only a little less damage...Unless your hitting the speed cap for cripple shot wich is very hard with out bh carbine skills you will do much better with the full auto. Full auto also hits random pools. Even if i hit speed cap with cripple i think id keep full auto single as my favorite because of the status effects...once they stuck id go with cripple though if i were at speed cap.

i know FAS2 is really good, it has the best DPS of any or our moves.


but its HAM cost kill me faster then a krayt.


if iam buffed FAS2 is my fave move

personally, i like scattershot2 and FAS2 a lot now, becaue stat effects=good and mind damage=better for PvP.
