Thread: final answer is charge shot broken or not?
Real simple: You can resist dizzy. You can normaly resist kd. You can even find nifty things to help you resist them. You cant resist charge shot. If this still confuses you I can go on. But I would like to think that you knew the answer before you asked. ![]()

well, i love being a carbineer. i even liked it before i got CS1 and realized i actually had a really useful move.
it is still a sad day when i forget to buff and i am at 1/2 health after 3 shots...but i am getting close to master and i am not looking back.
i hope we don't lose CS1 and i hope people don't raise heck over it...
all i know is that when it comes to a Piket...they get the full wrath of my CS1, FullAuto, WildShot, CrippleShot, BurstShot spam...and i never have to worry about them sending me a nasty /tell ![]()
yeah, i just figured that more often than not, people are not suited up to be able to reliably resist the kd+dizzy combo...and even if they are...soon as the resist fails it is all over.
i guess i was comparing the power when that one sticks...to the power of repeatedly using CS1, whenthe real point is just whether CS1 is a legitimate move or a bugged move.
either way it really just depends on the player...the "sure win" is not very exciting, so in general i assume people won't want to just spam somebody to the ground until they incap...but i could be wrong...hehe ![]()

Ummmmm ACTUALLY THIS IS A GOOD THING. The more people who statistically have Novice Carbineer, the more the Developers will pay attention to our increased population.
Crippleshot might as well be called overcharge shot 3. There is nothing special about that one. And in spamming that one your just slowing down your rate of fire.
Yes charge shot is bugged. The timer doesn't seem to work. I knock them down they come right back up. And if you spam chargeshot your not very bright. You just don't get anywhere in doing so. Remeber you run torwards your target and then fire. Spaming it just keeps you in place and makes you an easier target.
Unless you run sideways, try pressing an arrow key next time you do use chargeshot. Or if they get close to you try going backwards on any other direction you want. As for they get right back up, well if you are spamming it they get up to fall down again and again and again. Trust me I do it to warping mobs when ever they use the force and have play tested it on my fellow players (with there consent).

Well for a plan carbineer you would be correct but on top of my master carbineer I happen to have bounty carbine 3. This lets me spam it at the speed cap and as it is our most damaging shot well I wouldnt say there is nothing special about it. For normal carbineers it is worth checking out with a snub carbine as with a good krayt tissue these guns can get very respectable with a halfway decent slice. Then add powerups and a special that does x7 or there abouts is well worth it at once a second. Without bounty carbine you would need a lot of speed tapes or a couple of good onesto get cripple at the speed cap.

On the Jedi forums I read a post by a Jedi who had been killed by a BH spamming CS1. The Jedi told a CSR and had his death removed, with the explanation that in PvP "Chargeshot1 is an exploit".
