Yeah man, I dropped weaponsmith to let one of my friends take it up, and I have some imperial stocks, scopes, barrels and power-handlers and gathering some decent resources for him to make me some DXR6, LC and Elite with them then hope for decent damage slices.
BTW I goofed up on the EE3, it's 2.0 122-256, the best one I have atm and it got a 32% speed slice. LOL

Correction, *was* the only way.
Come Friday (or whenever the BH publish changes), Imp Stocks and Adv. Scopes (those affect accuracy only, right, can't see the FAQ from here)become replaceable by BH carbines. And the krayt tissue does help in PvP, but are not absolutely necessary assuming your opponents have ranged mitigation 3 (which is a very big and invalid assumption).

I disliked rifles myself. The way I dealt with that was getting a full set of buffs, and run around an NPC city in a starting planet and spam /pointblankarea;. I would kite the mob while doing it, to accrue moreaggro as I ran around. I might have a low hit rate, but when you are attacking 10 mobs at once, you don'tneed to have a highhit rate tokill some. The buffs prevented me from getting killed, and I didn't even bother with armor (decay and all that).
Not the prettiest solution or the fastest solution. But it was safe, low risk, reasonably fast, and I didn't have to think about it (thus could read a book or watch TV while doing it).

50 million credits? Isn't the combat balance in about 5-6 weeks from now? And do people think a gun like that is going to uphold those same stats once the combat balance goes into affect? Surely the developers won't let a gun like this survive once the balance hits...
