Master BH, Carbineer 4.4.0.4 right now. Will grind out the last line tomorrow. I've loved carbs forever, so I'm glad to finally be able to master it. I'm mostly a Jedi killer and fighting low level Jedi I hit them for 400-700 damage with my 224-376 damage DXR-6 using Crippling shot.

Despite what people say I felt very powerful as the template in my sig. I expect to feel even more powerful with Master carbs.

Theres about 950 things wrong with this template

1. Cm = death

2. Pikeman = death

3. Fencer = death because acc does nothing to dodge.

4. u dont have doc which makes almost useless in current pvp

Well speaking from a BH 0400/master carbineer perspective...

CM = death

duh

Pikeman = death

lol I don't know, I've never seen one PvP. But there's a big difference between an unavaoidable poison thrown from 80m and a poison that can miss at 5 meters and can be kited

Fencer = death

I've never had touble hitting fencers

Was a master carbineer + bh 0300 and as said above, yourarely missand shooting everything at speed cap is pretty sweet... This combo will be deadly after the armor gets nerfed, but not until then. I dropped the above template because although you can absolutely dominate an opponent (or more) with states + kd + posture changes, it deals VERY little damage (and don't tell me about your uber carbines, I had very good ones, mitigation breaks the laser pretty bad, and the ap1 of elite doesn't help too much either). And I'm talking about experienced opponents, not the "casual" pvp'er with 56% composite.

One word of advice if you're going for this template: stay as far as you can from melee players. If they stick an intimidate on you, you might as well burstrun away

I went BH last night and with stored XP started at 0302 BH. Just for kicks I went out and took on a Janta Shaman at a static spawn near my guild's player city with no buffs and my light dinky armor. I used my Krayt Elite carbine, no macros and just stims for keeping me alive. I dropped him like a bad habit without ever getting touched. Used FireKD till he went down, then put him away with speed capped CripplingShot. I went out then and ran a trio of Piket Plains Walker missions without buffs or food and proceeded to earn 31k Carbine xp without a single incap in a fraction of the time I could have done this as a Master Carbineer.

I used a 32% max damage power up on theElite which made its stats, 2.0 speed, 130-327 damage.

I kinda feel bad having given into the Dark Side of the Carbine, but at the end of the day, its what works.

By the way, if you intend to fight a Jedi, know that even with 235 Accuracy (MCarbineer, BH0300, Citrus Snowcake), another associate of mine had 80-90% of his shots blocked.

This has me a bit upset. Again the Devs are favoring melee.

I've heard reports that accuracy has NOTHING to do against Jedi block (It does matter against rifleman block and fencer dodge so don't get me wrong). I've heard that all ranged attacks have the same chance of hitting.

Yes. It's the exact opposite of how it really should be. Switch the effectiveness of Ranged and Melee profs and you have a RL/Star Wars scenario. This system is ridiculous. And the Devs favor the jedi with themelee profs in 2nd.

This has been my template for about two months now:

Master Carbineer / Bounty Hunter 3/4/0/0.

It's an insane template against critters. I can take any unsliced carbine in the game and get a shot off a second. What does this mean...well, I can spam shot a group of mokks once a second for about 1K damage each, or when helping my clan mates against a Krayt and some bozo guild comes along to try and steal the kill, i can out damage their TKM.

The bane of this template though is food. This ruins the carbineer in PvP, but with the wide range of shots available to me, I can usually find there weakness in about 10 seconds, or I can spam there entire group and put dizzy, blind, stun, confusion and knockdown on an entire group in about 10 seconds.

So with the new Master Bounter Hunter/Master Carbineer / Pistoleer dabbler, I think I will do very well.

I think you have 3 options:

Novice Medic for healing

Novice Brawler for Intimidate

Pistols 0040 for Geo pistol cert. and secondary defences
