Can't figure out people who whine about being "kited". That's the downside to melee combat but IF we get in range ![]()
If you can't loose a fight without whining then don't fight.

isn't that how is meant to be done? I thought if you didn't kite you are doing something wrong. Make em work for it. Isn't that the reason we get carbine accuracy while moving bonuses?

I fought a BH in Coronet for 45 minutes once. He was overt by the starport in full composite and fully buffed. I used /wildshot2 on him and started running. He chased me through the city, but I alwaysstayed at between 50m and 64m away from him. I actually fought with him for so long that his buffs ran out. He turned tail and ran, so I chased him down and incapped him. After that, the stream of %^$&$% came through a couple of nasty /tells. So I DBed him, told him " you know what the sad thing is.......I am not even buffed", and went on my way. That was probably the most entertaining PvP experience I have ever had in this game

I used a standard unsliced elite carbine (I actually got it sliced recently for 19% dmg increase, so far not much of a difference against buffed opponents).

Coming from a Master Brawler / Teras Kasi Master / Master Pikeman / Master Fencer / Master Heavy Swordsman background, I say you 100% did the right thing. Honestly, if you can't figure out that your best option against a Melee opponent is to run, then you deserve to be KD/Dizzy. However, I'd recomend strongly on spamming Charge Shot until we're down, cuz against a real Melee PvPer like myself, it's only a matter of seconds before any kiter is taken down by Burst Run + Lunge 2. You must be cautious.

I think he wanted you to strip and bend over. Or maybe he wanted you to curse him to death, or pull scary faces.
I'd have asked him to duel again and promise not to kite. Then kite him again.
