It's not a rebel only mission... anyone can get the quest. Talk to his guards, Jinkins and Kole... they'll each give you a mission and when you're done talk to Nym himself.

Also, I'd like to know if anyone has any luck getting this the second time. I tried today and the items for the last mission never spawned in the base, so I was unable to get a second one.

I whacked a few Corsairs earlier this evening and got +Bloodrazor (something like that) and -Canyon Corsair faction, but didn't get any +Nym faction (I'm at -5000 Nym faction form my BH days ).

I'm going to head to Yavin and try the Hutt Expeditionary forces tomorrow. Hopefully they'll give +Nym faction.

Even with -5000 Nym Faction, you still can do Nym's Slug-Thrower Carbine quest. It is very easy. Just make you get a bike before you do the quest. It is helk of running to do.

Im pretty sure you cant do it twice unless its changed since the patch.

Cant be done twice you get a message from Nym about how your are welcomed back too the stronghold.

Hutt Expeditionary Forces do give +Nym faction. The faction hits are:

+Nym, Corsec, Naboo Security Forces, Narmle Police Forces

-Hutt, Jabba and Borvo

I went from -5000 to -395ish in just a couple hours. Tomorrow I should be Nym's best friend.

I got 2 of them this past weekend, so it is possible!

Here's how I did it:I got the quest from Nym and went out to the research base. When I opened the magseal container that had the grenade case, I automatically got 1 grenade housing in inventory and message to find the computer data. When the container was also opened, there was also grenade caseinside it. So I took it and ended up with 2 grenade cases. I did the same thing with the computer data. When I returned to Nym, I dragged one grenade and then one data onto him which finished the quest and received 1 slug thrower in inventory. Then I dragged the second grenade and data onto him and got another slug thrower in inventory.

No, I haven't tried going back to the research base to try to get another grenade and data to see if it would work again.

I can't find the computer data, but I got two of everything else. Where the heck do you find the computer data?
