For unbuffed combat, the DH17 snubby rocks. I had a stock snubbie that speed sliced down to 1.1 with 90-220 damage and nothing more than 27 in the HAM column.

This was ages ago when Kettemoor had a spectacular run of resources and the slice was near perfect.I miss the old girl.

Gave it to a buddy of mine with 240 condition left when he was doing Carbines in Marksman to reclaim Bounty Hunter.

The only difference between a DH17 carbine and a Snubnoce DH-17 carbine (Other than the looks) is that the snubnose has a lower accuracy. I love their looks, but the DH-17 is better, even though the certification is granted one level before the snubby.

Yeah, but I wouln't be caught dead using my DH17 in public.

The snubbie on the other hand is always is style and the perfect accessory to a Composite prada handbag for the ladies or a set of padded vintage sneakers for the gents.

Also snubbies look good with formal evening wear, where as bringing the regular DH17 (Reg-D for short) to a reception, be it ball or wedding, is a serious faux pas.

All good carbineers know this. Think about the implications if your are invited to a jedi hunting party at lord Vaders estate and transgress by bringing the Reg-D. At the very least the combat revamp would be pushed back for another six months.

unbuffed that was the whole point of the gun - if i got the knockdowns after 3 or 4 confusions i would easily win - my primary ham was 600 800 1100

i was using medic x1xx to heal my self between shots

Wait.. you won duels against a TKM/CM and Fencer/Pistoleer using BH/Carbs, unbuffed?

/gasp

That deserves my applause, heh. Any foods? PSGs? 'Cause no matter how you look at it, that's pretty darned good.

Well I have won against a Jedi who was buffed while I was not buffed.....muhahahahaha

And yes I usedaboatload of Stim B's.....

But really, only the CM would be tough IMO as the BH/Pistoleer/Fencer/whatever doesn't sound hard at all. I have faced Pikeman, Commando, BH, and of course other Carbineer unbuffed and had little trouble....in fact the one BH I beat was buffed and I was not

Hm, perhaps. I'm just thinking in terms of stat migration, though. I think I'd deplete my HAM bars in a few shots if I kept them the way they are, even with a low HAM-draining carbine.

Add a few foods in the mix and it becomes very possible to take on such templates unbuffed, yeah. FAS2 and CrippleShot become extremely effective against unarmored opponents.

I guess I'll have to try it out - I haven't fought unbuffed in a whiiiile, heh.

I've beaten a TKM/CM unbuffed. FireKD, CripplingShot for the kill.Food/spices: Pixie, Brandy, Canape, Vercupti of Aggazza Beloruee. You'll think you're buffed, anyway. Stim Bs for to recharge the HAM and the KD hit before his poison did. I don't think his armor was all that impressive, since I did a fair amount of damage per shot.
