does the amount of dizzy or knockdown success depend on the weapon?

what i am trying to say is would some krayt cdef or dh17 carbine with dmg slice and pup with very low ham costs be able to put states on the target in pvp as well as my nym401 damage cabrine?

does the low ham costs of a cdef or dh17 carbine make it worth considering? i personally feel i am losing the pvp cos of my own ham costs in specials

i am being serious - i am trying all weapons in all different ways - i amnot gonna give up on carbineer

Actually, I knew several Carbineers who used krayted DH17s for states.

Getting a weapon as close to your speedcap speed is crucial, and if it means using a DH17 to apply states and KDs, so be it. You're probably better getting an Enhanced E11, though. It's damage is a bit higher, requires 1 krayt tissue, has AP1 and has a natural bleed on it. An all-round good weapon that's easy to speedcap using tissues or even a speed slice / powerup.

yeah e11 is what i use for krayts i was just thinking that the micro ham costs of a dh17 are nice and maybe worth trying out

For unbuffed combat, the DH17 snubby rocks. I had a stock snubbie that speed sliced down to 1.1 with 90-220 damage and nothing more than 27 in the HAM column.

This was ages ago when Kettemoor had a spectacular run of resources and the slice was near perfect.I miss the old girl.

Gave it to a buddy of mine with 240 condition left when he was doing Carbines in Marksman to reclaim Bounty Hunter.

yeah i might try out a snub dh17 with the best resources i have with a imp stock with a 20max dmg feed - would be very cool if it works out for a unbuffed weapon

Heh, I can't remember the last time I fought unbuffed.

The DH17 'snubby' is a cool looking weapon though.. it's a shame it doesn't have much use outside plain fun unbuffed newbie duels and stuff, heh.

DH17 is a popular choice. The HAMs are a bit lower, but if HAM costs are a concern you may want to alos consider the loot reward stocks from imperial themepark. The reduce speed which is also a bonus for carbineers and the HAM cost are better. The only concer is the damage isnt as high. The imp ones are 25min and 30max, an average adv stock is 35ish min/max ... But the big advantage is the speed. The imp ones reduce the speed by 0.5 (makes it faster) and the adv ones increase the speed (makes it slower)

As far as KD accuracy will help, damage won't effect it. A CDEF has the same chance a kryated laser for KDing if the acc mods are equal

Yeah, its not an every day weapon, but I do run with an RP group that PvPs without medical assistance, and its nice to have a fallback when my regular PvP weapons whack me for 400 Action a shot.

Lets not go crazy here, isn't the max Action Cost around 375

I do plan on verifying the Specials Data Table before the Sandbox so at least ONE PROF has the correct data

Not when the HAM cost numbers on your weapon go something like: 85/99/87

Sounds like a poor choice in weapons

the results are in

from using a imp stock, basic scope and using uber materials i got a weaponsmith to make a dh17

the results werelike this unsliced

speed 2.0

d'mage min/max - 98/202

ham - 26/34/16

the range was +47 @ 36m

especially with a decent dmg slice would be a nice weapon with pup unbuffed

i have tryed it dueling tkm/cm and fencer master/pist (not master) and won 2 of 3against each - mainly using bh specials
