Carbineers need a stun weapon or an ap3 weapon to be effective. If they are not going to impliment stun, then make elite carbine ap3.
well judging from your name to the left you were registered after i was a carbineer. I WAS A CARBINEER. i ruled in pvp when armor sucked. I didn't have dizzy, but i was still good. the only stun weapon that needs to be nerfed right now is the jawa ion. stun armor barely affects it b/c it is ap1. no carbineer doesn't need stun, if it does then i say give the tk's pikes & swordsman stun too.

Make a stun-specific armor. Base comparable to Composite but weak to energy. This would make things quite interesting...

The fact that composite currently holds all the cards is what kills it.
If each armor had specific proftections and no one type had the large majority of overwhelming protection, then silly damage types like stun (the one vulnerability in the king of armor protection) would fly out the window. If composite was suddenly vulnerable to cold, everyone would screwam for cold damage instead.
See how it goes?
The armor controls the damage types. And while I am all for eachkind of weapon having a variety of damage types, I do not believe stun crabines are the answer to the problem. Armor balancing was mentioned in the state of the game letter though. Have faith! (I still do! ... somehow!)

Why do you need stun damage? Because it's the only vulnerability we can viably exploit. Why is it this way? Because composite armor is too effective for the ease of crafting it. If a hand full of people on each server were resistant to most attack types (like everyone currently is with good composite armor) you wouldn't need a stun weapon UNLESS you were dealing with them. And if one person out of 200 is wearing composite armor I think people may realize who they're dealing with etc etc.
Do you agree? Or do you really think we need to continue to ask for the entire game to be made into a stun battle? Or should the devsbalance combat professions by making certain armor effective against certain attacks, and not all inclusive?
