Imagine a duelunbuffed/no stat enhancing food. One player uses fullautosingle2 and chargeshot1/2 only. The other player uses burstshot1 and chargeshot1/2 only. Who do you think would win?

IF Counterattack worked, IF both are Master Carbineers. I'd say even money.Remember, blind kills your accuracy, Stun wastes your rate of fire and a few other effects I'm not totally clear on, and if that first FullAutoSingle2 drops a Dizzy with the ChargeShot1 follow up, kiss the BurstShotter goodbye.

There's more to the combat equation than raw damage. If I wanted to be that kind of brute force player, I'd be a TKA.

In the end, even dabbling in 3 trees is just weak in Carbineer....Master is tough enough

This maybe the case, but Rifleman with anything less than Master is also very tough due to the lack of speed.

the guy states that rifleman isnt worth doing unless you master it (quite true as well)

do u need to be carb master or will dabbling work?

currently deciding on a template for pvp, but am bored with all the cm/rifle/eye shot [yawn] templates that people use

I believe Pistoleer dabbles best since its best Specials are fewer and easier to get.

Carbineer is VERY difficult to dabble in and even Master for PvP.....unless you pickup BH

Oh and this poor Rifleman that doesn't have enough speed without Master Rifleman gets +70 without Master but Carbineer gets +50 without Master......oh give me a break, buy +25 Speed in SEA's like Carbineer and we still don't have the speed of a Master Rifleman......don't cry here about poor Rifleman speed as that is an insult to my intelligence....

I respect his opinion, but at the same time, I will challenge it if I disagree. Its not a personal thing, just a disagreement over combat techniques. I use FullAutos unbuffed and the effects are worth the cost. All I intended here was to defend that stand. As Nova said, BurstShots are better for creature mob PvE because of their dizzy immunity, and I agreed, but that's a limited scope of what we're capable of, and BurstShot is NOT always the best answer when you fight unbuffed.
