lol, it seems that other professions will feel how it is to be weak like carbineers come the revamp.

I am curious though, what is the break-off point for what the DEVs call high-end content?

I know Elders, Death Watchers, Kimogilas, and Krayts would be up there, it's a given. But would something like an ancient bull rancor 12k to 15k(20k?) HAM and good resits + light armor be impossible to solo as well? And if that's the case wouldn't thatmake high-end content that is already non-soloable (death watch bunker) even tougher? Or will it be brought in check to make it less frustrating... or more rewarding to beat.

But I guess as long as each combat profession will be more equal everybody will have a place in DWB and not just mind-attackers, which I'm happy about, I left carbineer for that reason not too long ago, but I plan to pick it up once the CU comes out just to feel how different it is to regrind.

My guess is most likely that which would give decent loot. I doubtrancorswould fit in this category.

Don't jump to any conclusions here.....nothing is written in stone yet.

All content will be getting a "balance" just like all the combat profs are.....the Sandbox testing will show where the "end of solo'ing" point will be.....and I am sure it could be tweaked after the first publish or two of the CU.

And it may be possible to solo ONE rancor but once two or three got on you then, well /clone

It's the term given to the tactic where you keep a target at a distance by running away from them. Most Ranged fighters do this naturally.. Simply attacking a target and running away and keeping them in your 'ideal range' is much like running with a kite..

alright, saying that all content will be getting a balance puts one of my previous big worries about the CU to rest. not being able to solo a rancor easily to me is a good thing.... but my oh my will it be a big difference, my toon will feel so weak lol. But i can't wait, everything I hear sounds really fun so far.

Chunky, solo groups don't count as hunting groups....they're "solo"

The coming CU will most certainly take away posts like this.....NO SOLO HIGH END CONTENT ANYMORE FOR ANY PROF - that is a major theme from the info the Devs have released so far.
