But being dizzy/KDd means nothing. You can recover from the nastiests of dizzy fish flops in a matter of seconds if you're not lagged. And the Squad Leader argument applies to your opponent as well.
How can you expect to kite if you need to be in melee range to use your Commando specials? How can you expect to even stand up with the defenses of Commando/Carbineer?
How can you expect to dish out significant damage without having to rely on speedcapping Carbineer and Commando with very good krayt carbines?
A commando/carbineer is a paintball-gunner against a preppared PvP opponents. 80% armor, mitigation, PSG and steak means standard damage is completely out of the question. Throw in standard defense stacking, terrible weapon accuracy, terrible weapon speeds, weapon switch delay.. and you've got yourself a template that is good, yes.. but not great.
It can work, yes, but it is far from being "optimal" or even the prime choice for a Carbineer looking to PvP. Commando simply lacks on all facets of modern PvP, namely DoTs (a weak fire is useless), defenses, Docs and Jedi. I simply can't see it working.
I don't know.. Im terribly skeptic of it ever working in PvP.

well...you can pick up medic 0040, that's what I always had in my templates (well my current commando has 0030 medic, but much better defense with pistols 0040 and TK 4310)
your accuracy at 0030 sucks though
you'll always land hits on KD people, but not standing up/moving
and M commando gives 4 dots...which ticks for over 1k combined
