Dont go starting this BH v.s. Carbineer crap, you have 250 skill pts just like everyone else, dont like it then go Bounty Hunter but dont sit there and whine because you dont know how to use a knockdown.

I've only seen KDand Dizzy problems on animals. NPCs are helpless before me with FullAutoArea2 and ChargeShot2. I've sent three and four stormtroopers at a time into convulsions from a barrage of FullAutoArea and a follow up ChargeShot2. It seems to be a question of the resistance to KD on the part of the target than any problem on our end.

I'm a bit confused about the Dizzy/KD combo. I spam Full Auto untill my target gets dizzy and then proceeds to Charge Shot it down. Shouldn't the target keep down or rather fall down when it tries to stand? I know I do whenever I get dizzed and then knocked down.
Is this some special broken ability of carbineers that our dizzy is less powerfull than other dizzys? Or is it just that it doesn't work 100% of the time?

Dizzys don't work 100% of the time. It depends on chance and your opponent. 75% of the time my opponents do the flop, 25% of the time they stand up with the dizzy. That's when actionshot2 is nice to drop them to a knee and watch them knock themselves down again when they try to stand.

Ok... I've still have to see the flop work, but I'll give them a bit of action and see if that helps.

Dont ask me, ask SOE....but if I had to give youa reason why, is because there are more skill points dumped into bounty hunter than there is in any other Hybrid Class. At Master Bounty Hunter you only have 33 skill pts remaining, at Master Carbineer you have 158 pts left over.....need I say more? Why should Carbineers,Pistoleers and Rifleman get Defenses and Bounty Hunters dont? Smells like the Pot calling the Kettle black.

I understood, "you got your 250 points" as in, ..
Nobody stopping you from skilling BH (or carbineer) as well. Which means, the wha wha wha, uses x skillpoints for tempalte y, wha wha wha, -debate is partially void.
On BH skills, I think there is more to BHs than offense/defense skills.
A guild-mate said, they made 970k while grinding the investigation tree. And another guildmate is just having fun doing investigations (both are Wookiees, so no comp armor gladiator wannabes).
There is a whole aspect of the game ONLY available to bounty hunters.
That should be responcible for some skillpoint-costs as well.
We carbineers do not even get nice special weapons! *whine*
