I love it just because Carbines are just bad ass to being with (i.e sweet looking wapons, bad ass titles, and charge shot).
Also of all the professions ive played and pvped with, it's the only profession where i find my self not spamming one attack (Headshot3, Scatterhit2, Eyeshot ect.). Its a profession that requires thought and tactics, which most people who play this game are scared of.

---This post peminds me of an experience I had that helped develop my love for this profession. I flew into the bestine shuttleport overt looking for action one night and noticed a lot of other overt imps around after I case the town.
---I start heading back to the shuttleport and an overt reb runs by me shooting over his shoulder at 3 imps chasing and shooting at him. I target him and he has taken hardly any damage despite the fact that he has 3 people shooting him so I think 'defense stacker'. Before he gets out of my range I tag him a couple of times with dizzy and fire some KD's at him. He doesnt fall so I hit suppression fire. He kneels and doesnt budge. So I have him kneeling there as the 3 imps run up, surround him and start gunning away. Off in the distance I start the procession of crippleshots and between the four of us down he goes!
---So anyway, he was hightailing it out of town until I got the dizzy and posture change on him. That was the experience that opened my eyes to posture change as opposed to KD. I like the options available to us in this class.

I love it because when I fight Riflemen (and beat those who don't know what they're going into), they start whining that Carbineer is a "cheating" profession, then I remind them of the HS3 / Jawa Ion combo they always use.

I like that after I lose a battle to someone I can think "how should I have done that differently?" as opposed to "man I guess I wasnt hitting F5 fast enough".
That sentance pretty much sums this profession up. That is exactly how I feel. When I lose a fight I'll pour over the logs, ask the guy who beat me questions about his template, and try to figure out a new strategy against it.

Carbineer definitely sets you apart from the rest of the players very quickly. Personally i think we have the greatest character concept in SWG. Front line fightes with fast firing weapons. Albeit we are quite far from that with the very low defence and horribily gimped speed. It is great to be different and havingfun doing it.
One of my guildies used to walk around with his sig "Pre-Boost TKA, take that FOTM" I am sure most of us have our new motto in our sigs and that makes us rock. Especially if you have been around since Pub 7, or beforehand like most od us. I decided on carbineer before i even had my copy of the game pre-ordered and i have loved it since.

I love Carbineer because it stands on the right side of the line between fighting with your skills and fighting with skill.

wow...
everybody, lets just keep repeating ourselves over and over and over...
It feels like I'm in a support group like AA or something, and you people are trying to convince yourselves that your not wasting your time.
I agree with the statements
I just don't agree with you all repeating your selves over and over.
Don't forget to QFPC this...

I just like the non-l33tness of it... and I think that it is my weapon of choice
