Thanks for the info, im pretty new here, i just started SWG and decided carbineer would a be a reasonable place to start, these modifiers are great, is there a list somewhere that i could a list of the skill descriptions? what exactly they do. They descriptions in game dont really explain anything. And the last 2 carbineers i talked to in game just said use cripple shot screw everything else, that is all well and good that cripple shot is useful but knowing what everything esle does might help.

Actually, from the numbers you posted, it would appear that FullAutoSingle2 has the best speed:damage ratio -- 1:3.2 vs CripplingShot's 1:3. Am I correct or am I missing something?

Thanks for your hard work but seriously why did you have to even do this? I mean shouldn't the devs know what these are? It is computer code not something handed down from on high to us mere mortals. Just a rant sorry.

Excellent observation. However, FAS2 seems to have a slightly higher HAM:damage ratio, 0.29/0.36/0.09 compared to CrippleShot's 0.11/0.24/0.11. Still, with buffs, it would appear FAS2 is the way to go, especially since it at least has a SMALL chance of afflicting states...

Know what would be cool? The in-game description of every special move should list all of these modifiers as well as any status effects the move applies. That would be a lot more useful than the vague text descriptions we currently have for all special moves. And people wouldn't have to guess if specials were bugged anymore, they could just compare its behavior to the modifiers and status effects listed in the description.

Yes this is great info, thanks nova. I'm MBH + 0403 carbineer atm. You guys have a good forum going over here, really calmwithout all the drama of most other combat related boards (esp BH). Actually, visiting your forum here is what made me decide to drop Pistoleer linesand go all Carbs.

Please ignore the forum spam post from the BH. I feel it wasmisguidedto assaultall the combat professions with that info. It's well knownBH has no defenses, at any rate, I hope you won't count it against all if us.

I also don't think defense is what most BH's would want (or need). They just want to land hits on an opponent, much like any ranged profession.I imagine that's all a Carbineer could ask for as well. That's whyI spent my remaining points onadd'l offense skills rather than tryto dabble somepaltry defenses that will have little effect on my template. I just made a new toon on Eclipse, and I plan onleveling into Carbineer early on.
