Yes and no. Even an accuracy-stacked BH Carbineer will have trouble against Dodge stacked Fencers using dodge food. Generally speaking, I hit 50% of the time with only Master Carbineer and tapes. If I intimidate and Stun them, I'll land more hits (though generally, having Master Fencer myself, I don't engage them with my carbine, heh.) +60 is nice, and it will help, but with +25 in tapes, you should really be ok. Master Marksman and BH 0400 is a lot of SP wasted for simply accuracy.
I only have +13 in speed tapes at the moment but off course I'm still looking for them, I might take a look into my template if I get another +12...
FireHawk, does counterattack actually work when you have like 105 from carbineer and then +25 in skilltapes? Are you really "harder" to hit?
Yes. Counterattack works (though not entirely as intended, and not as "well" as Swordsmen's Counterattack, but it does work. +25 helps alot in this respect for some reason.. the leap is phenomenal from simple Master Carbineer to +25 with tapes.
Last, If I would drop the BH, shouldn't I get doctor for it instead, maybe 4440 and look how far I get with my skillpoints. Or anything allong the line of healing... Buffing wouldnt be so bad either...
You could.. but the lack of melee mitigation or toughness will get you killed in PvP. If you can't kite, you're dead, and the recent Jedi will slice through you rather fast. Really depends on what you prefer. If you generally PvP with a good Doctor, then healing your poisons and disease isn't really a big deal. Buffs are generally easy to come by.. and I find that most Doctor mix players tend to run around healing more than fighting. Fencer 4440 would give you some awesome defenses and Melee Mitigation 2.. which is in my mind better.

P.S. Fun is a big deal, but it's all about owning the scene *OBVIOUSLY*, gives me a fare greater kick then any fun thing
I have no trouble hitting a Fencer or anybody else with Snow Cake and +70 Ideal Range Carbines.
And Fencer makes me harder to hit, along with the Pistoleer skills, not Counterattack. Carbineer and BH lack defense, so I simply came up with the best template to compliment a pure Carbineer fighter. I don't carry a 1H weapon or Pistol on my toon at all.....only used those to level and then got rid of them. Besides CM and Jedi, I believe I have the strongest Carbineer template for every other prof I come across....I can even take on more than one at a time.

Not that I see any of these guys, but there is nothing unique about having enough buffs/armor/food to stop all but Jedi and CM.....THAT is my point.
This game is dead and the Devs choose to revive it with a Jedi Revamp and JTL.....
