Well-crafted non-Krayts on my server usually have a max damage of 275 or so, I've seen. So I'd say you should expect a max damage on an unsliced Krayt laser to be at least 300, if not significantly higher.

i saw one unsliced at 3.6 speed and 340 damage un sliced i did not buy it becsue it was 525k lol

are you sure the person you had make that weapon actually used your tissues? because the laser i had made (with 65/.65 tissues if i remember correctly) was like 35-350 / 3.2 pre-slice.. after a damage slice it went up to 404 max dmg

and it only cost me 49k =p (i supplied the tissues though)

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who posted and gave me a good idea of what to expect. I will be starting my journey as a fellow Carabineer today and I have an appointment to see a weaponsmith for a Krayt *something* carbine. I will look into that DH17 w/stock option to thank you for the heads up!
