Anyone on Radiant got any for sale? Havent been able to find anyone selling or for that matter having one yet. Very interested in getting one if there are some around.

As for a Laser Carbine made out of Krayt Tissue, I doubt you'll find one, and I doubt you'll find it for sale if you did. It would take at least 5 pieces of Krayt Tissue to factory-make the Power Handlers needed to make a Laser Carbine. That, in itself, is pretty tough work....

I wouldn't want to risk using only 5. I'd say 6 would be safer cause factorys love to stop at 2 before finishing when making low production runs. Last time I tried a 5 run i lost 2 tissues due to it eating it, and one for the schematic. But anyways you would still need a nice damge slice to make it superior to a normal laser with a nice damage slice. And if you get a speed slice you just wasted 4 tissues, unless your buyer is a noob without carbine speed.

i'd be dying to know the stats on one of these. on our server, with materials i could use, i can make 3.6, 243 max laser carbs, maybe 3.7, 260 with advanced handler. i used 3 of the 20+ max dmg parts, and i hit..3.4 290, including 3 moderate successes.i cant imagine one made with kryat tissues.

just add 10 on top, so 300 damage. It does seem they fixed the bug where factorys would eat parts and stop early though. They seem to take stuff out of crates better too.

My question is what is a good damage range for one of these and how much can I expect to spend for one.

I just had one made with 55pt Krayt tissues and it was 39-304 @ 3.1. After a 25% damage slice, it is 47-380 @ 3.1. I have not scrounged up a power up yet to see what my max damage will be. I think that my carbine is middle-of-the-road as far as damage. I think that a practical damage range would be from 285-320 on the high end with no slice. Then cross your fingers that you get a good damage slice. I was hoping for more than 25%, but at least it's not a speed slice.

speed sliced krayt carbines are usually 2.0 speedish with 330 damage. Damage sliced krayt carbines are around 400 (usually over in the 430ish range depending on the tissue) with 3.0ish speed.

krayt carbines aren't exactly easy to find.... carbines in general aren't exactly easy to find. It's really based on what kind oftissue went into the carbine and what kind of slice it got (if it was presliced). but expect to spend around 700k-2mil from lowest quality krayt to highest quality krayt with a good slice.

Made 4 for myself the other day gave away one to a friend that got a poor spd slice ended up 2.4 spd with just over 300 damage (tissues where 40 -.6 so the spd slice only droped it .6 spd) Gave my BH toon one that is 3.0 390 maxand got 2 3.3s 300 max sitting on the floor waiting for a slice. People pay easily 40-50k for base tissues on my server so your price for a Lazer would most likly be in the 300-400k range. Id tell you what i charge exactly but i dont sell any of my krayt guns Id reather give them to friends and hang on to a few for PVP.

Never use your krayt guns in PVE IMHO cause its not worth the decay to them slap the best powerup you can on it (spd/max or max/min) and keep in on your hot bar for kilin imps

Keep in mind while shoping that the price of these is going up drasticly soon with kryts going to 300k it will tke one heck of a group to take them out as it is now MCH/Rifleman/Commandos/Carbineers can solo them and i can get mighty close with one mauler so the loot is usualy only split 1-3 ways not 15-20.

mine was made with +73 -0.6 tissues

came out to 39-323 3.5 23/45/21, then i got a crappy speed slice and its down to 2.8 speed. with a speed powerup, i can get it down to 1.9

I got a 100-380 1.9 Krayt DH17 paid 200k

dont forget that spamming specials on a sliced powered-up laser carbine, it will dereriorate fast so keep in touch with that Weaponsmith cause you will ahve to repair it every few days fiyour like me, every other day
