I've handled any Krayt or Gdk with this template: MBH, M Carbines, Pistols 0304. Atm i'm using a proton carbine.
Try to pull 1, then use torso shot on them to keep it agro, improved stopping shot, improved crippling shot, and improved charge shot. If you are not careful they love to retreat on you. Having good stim D's would not hurt incase you do get hit. I've been using brandy, canape for the most part and sometimes blob candy but they are not necassary. Lvl of the creature doesn't matter much between an 79 krayt and an grand/ancient besides the time it takes to bring it down.

MBH/MC/Pistoleer 0404 and i can solo krayts easily. haven't tried a gorax or anything else really... maybe i should since i can solo giant canyons pretty easily. hit it with a root &a snare and then hurt it until the root/snare wears off, knockdown and repeat.

master carb/ master BH/ CM 4000
I can solo krayts no prob by knocking them down then snaring and running in circles. and with my 850 dps carbine it takes about 5 mins to knock em off.

Krayts...adolescent maybe, but it will use retreat and you are screwed. Gorax fairly easy.

I've done Gorax. Krayts, Juves and Grands. Not tried an Ancient yet. DJK's and DJM's CL289-CL500
Basically if it's not got a ranged attack then it's doable. Justkeep it at arms length and slowly wear it down.

Im Master Carbs/MBH and 0404 CH. I can solo any type of big game, ancient Krayt, GDK, Gorax... Im using the circle of death technique since CU. I usually single pull using pet at 100m, then KD incoming dragon, snare him, send all my pets and droid to attack and slowly circle him to death(juves and canyons die pretty fast). It can be done without any pet or droid, its just a bit slower. To special attacks, keep it snared, when it starts to behave odly(warps, you lag etc.) use KD and when it goes definitely the wrong way, have burstrun ready - BR will assure you easy victory, for youll find yourself runing just behind the dragon and shooting at his tail. My Moded puped DPS is 899, so I dont use any specials for higher damage... there is no need to do so.
Works fine(21 pearls, 48 sets of tissues, 10 sets of bone shards in my bakcpack should be sufficient proof...). Just go there fellow carbineers and shoot..shoot..shoot.... We can meet at Mos Elsewhere(Bria) and hunt together. As was mentioned above, this can be done with DJK, DJM, its safer to bring few smuggler or pistolier friends along but its definitely possible. Dont let yourself to be fooled by ppl who say - YOU NEED UBER JEDI TO KILL THIS, THAT etc... They are fools, we carbineers can do it anytime without any UBER healing, critters wont simply even touch us.
Good hunting to all of you.
