I am still taking Apps and so far they have all been good.I will give it a few more days, over the weekend at least. Then there will be some discussions with each person individually and/or in a group to discuss some details.

There is no ETA on the Sandbox yet, sorry.

On a lark, I installed the current TC-Prime last night. Took about 8 minutes to get the 2.2 gigs down the pipe. I'm so ready for this.

Well TC is not a download, but a copy of the main SWG....much different. Only JTL so far is a major download, which took me around an hour on RoadRunner that is speed rated around 2.5 Mbps.

I will be closing this at approximately 604,800 seconds from the time of the original post. And unlike the in-game timers for the Village and Player Cities, server downtime does NOT affect when the timer expires...

The list will be 5 people and 2 alternates. A different prof has already had one of their people "leak" info, which was moderated quickly. This person had to be removed and I would not hesitate to do the same here. I may just like 7 people and have discussions individually or as a group to nail down the final 5.

I want to stress the difference from regular game play to the Sandbox Testing. We will be coordinating ourselves on the Sandbox at the same time....other play time there is optional and encouraged of course. A new install of SWG is required by downloading 2.2 GB approx. I plan on using a secure Chatzy room for communicationand/or any IM programs.....I have MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and ICQ....well I use Trillian The Corrs have not seen an NDA for the 5 picks, but expect one...even if there isn't one I will be holding all to an NDA. This is the most serious testing any of you will have ever done (well probably ), we will be working on the foundation for SWG that will be used for years to come.

I don't want to scare anybody away, this will probably be the most fun in SWG that you have ever had too. But I felt it important to let everybody know how serious I take this

What about ventrillo or teamspeak? A bit trickier because of additional hardware/software support, but probably more efficient.

OH man, very good point....I totally forgot about this...

I run a TS server on my desktop.....I will also be using this heavily and should all the testers (at least listen if you have no mic, which requires nothing additional).

Jeanne has me a bit flustered....no power at home still.....

Given the damage the south has taken, just being without power is a bit of a blessing. Thankfully that's all you've had to deal with.

No kidding. Some of the people around where I live have had their houses split in two by trees...

And if anybody is holding back because they are playing JTL Beta right now, go ahead and send in your app if you want to also be on the Sandbox. A number of us, including me, will be doing both

I didnt reread your original post and just sent ya a casual email, I will send a formal one in a sec. Sorry.... Really, I can read I promise.

Update: I have3 of my picks made so far. This is extremely tough as I would be happy by taking at least 10 of the people that applied.....but the Sandbox hardware is not setup for that many from each profession.

I hope to have this finalized tomorrow night
