I'd wear what I wear now - 6k resist Rebel Combat armor. I think it has a very cool, "star warsy" look to it.

For general use it's battle armour (Marauder with the helm swapped for rebel battle), which will eventually be sliced into a suit for wear and tear so I don't need to worry about the condition too much. Currently it's a 6201/6201/5500 suit so that'll do me fine. Waiting on some ore to come through on the server for my RIS suit (health enhancers added to it) which will house my carbine tapes and then become ADK'd and will take over from my general suit.

Then of course, spreading into the BH in the template I've got a full BH suit for creature/purple 111 bashing and looking for a high energy battle suit for jedi hunting (with armour break slicing)

RIS Simple as that.

RIS is extremely sexy because it has that exotic appeal. Before I got my RIS I wore factional armor in PvP. For PvE, I'm actually a fan of bone armor (gasp!). It has an appropriately rustic feel.

Bah it used to be! When full sets would run for 15-20 mil.. now anyone can get their hands on a set (everyone does, actually).. so it's definitely lost its 'sex appeal'.

'Sides, the UFO helmet just doesn't cut it for me, even if some do indeed look badass in em.

Eh, they are a lot easier to get your hands on now. Still, RIS is more rare in a group than say... ubese or padded. Gotta count for something. You do have to like the UFO helmet, though.

Well since Starsider Carbineers have taken over this thread, I will clarify and say that while I like the look of the factional and RIS armors...NOTHING, and I mean nothing will force me to get rid of my purple Mabari/Tantel mix that I wear. I will quit the game in this armor.

The only armor nowadays that has any sort of exotic, rare feel to it is a full, matching set of Mandalorian Armor.

I have been on Ahazi since I joined in February 2004 (a rather large server), and I have yet to see anyone walking around with a full, matching set of Mandalorian Armor. I see on a rare occasion a jet pack here and a Mand.Helmet there... rarer than Jedi used to be before Publish 9!

Sure, you hear of stories of guilds having a set, but these are on display only and there's probably a rift on who exactly deserves to equip and wear down the condition of such a valuable suit.

Now we're talkin. Ideally I'd have a Mando suit.. hehe. But we're looking at about 100 mil a piece with all the bad drops of BLs and LPCs, sadly. But you're right - a full Mando suit, regardless of the color (though a silver with something would be sweet) is downright "pimp"

And Zemzam, post screenies! I wanna see the purple combo
