With the prices coming down to a much more manageable level post-CU, I would probably grab a set of RIS. It will neve happen though, sadly. I am hopelessly in love with my recon armor. Still, sometimes I wish I had gone with RIS just for the look. I just always liked it.

I have a cheap 4000 resist set of Maurader armor for grinding and a nicer set of 6500s for more dangerous encounters.

I always wear battle armor, it's simply the best stuff in the game. Not to mention that it's the only stuff I'm certified for.

3 Pieces of ADKed R.I.S. armor

I'm using a combo of Marine Armor and R.I.S. The set up is for looks, though; I like to look good while I die. I need ADKs for my RIS though, so I haven't used it in combat yet.

Stormtrooper Battle Armor, as any Imp carbineer should be

RIS, stormie armor or combination of padded/RIS or padded/marauder.

i use purple maruader armor with pix in sig.


The skin is a mater of prefrence realy. There is battle recon and assualt.

no, its not, you only need 3, i dont wear armor on my arms, i use the +15 range combo cybernetics, so i only need to ADK my helm, chest, and legs

If you were just a carbineer, what armor would you wear?

Battle, of course! Black padded or factional. It would need to have a high energy resist (upper 6000s or 7000.) I have a suit of stormtrooper armor at 6.6k kin/en, which is good for all situations. The very high en armor would be for Jedi.

Actually, I have a very decent set of 6000 resist black Marauder that does the trick. Can't seem to find a decent set of Padded on my server for some reason (mainly because of the influx of new BH's maybe?). Hell, I've even seen some high resist Chitin and Bone being put out.

As an Imperial w/ Master Carbineer, Stormtrooper Armor. Period.
