Thread: Is this a Carbineer or BH forum?

Well this is supposed to be a forum dedicated to Carbineer proffession, not to Carbines in general. While BH Carbs isa fairly relevant topic to alot of carbineers it shouldn't be the focus of alot of discussions. For the most part it seems to have been pretty much in line on this board, since 99% of the questions are related directly to using BH Carbs to supplement Carbineer. I think what the complaint mostly concerns is people who this board to get answers on specific BH Topic because the BH Boards are swarmed with Jedi greifing topics. Stuff like "how well does FireKD work" is what i percieved this thread to be against. And given the state of the BH boards vs our boards, do you really blame them for coming here?

I'm totally with you that the CRB shouldn't be stressed.

It will have to take the time they need to get it out and get it right. (It's not like the game is broken beyond playability, even if you could imagine so from hearing some people talk)

What frustrates me is the failure to see the good some trickeling out with information would do. Just let the playerbase know that there is change on it's way. I mean I perfectly understand that they don't want to go out with information that will change. But some parts should be cemented by now. I mean it's been about amonth since the summit.

Well whatever, I can lament the lack of customer communication untill the cows come home, and then I can lament about dung on the floor... it really changes little. This is a waiting game, and I know it.

I'm bound to stay untill JTL anyways and so it would seem are most of my friends.

Well... anyways, thanks for answering, I don't really reccon I deserved an answer

I'll keep in line now.

As a BH/Carb/Pistoleer (how bummed am I about weapon switchout in the compat queue?) I come to the carbine forums for information about my carbine lifestyle, the pistoleer for stubby-barrel wisdom and the BH forum for good stories about hunting jedi. You, the carbineers, are the authoratitive source for any carbine-related info, so far as i'm concerned.

By the way at pistoleer 0042 nov carbineer and bh 0140 i find carbines are much more fun than pistols. Hope this feeling continues as I climb.

The hard part about going darkside (BH carb) is that there is no turning back.

How could I give up all this sweet speed and accuracy for going pure Carbineer once more?

The only way out of BH Carbs is going TK or Rifleman it would seem.

Or spending a lot of credits on +25 in speed tapes, accuracy tapes, and then defense-stacking Carbineer with Fencer and Pistoleer. It ends up being much better than the BH Carb combo .. but it ain't cheap.

Getting +25 in speed tapes just seems to much work and money.

I'll just wait for the Combat Revamp and see where that places carbineer. We're bound to be upped some in speed, and spamming specials won't be as much of an issue anyways.

Ok, on to a more serious topic, BH's come here for advice on how to use their carbines. More BH's use their carbines against jedi and even against other PvPer's as well, so it makes sense to know how to best use your weapon. I just recently switched from Master Pistoleer / MBH, to Carbineer / MBH. I find it more fun, and overall a better weapon, than pistols. I browse this forum now just to see if I'm getting the best out of my weapon and to learn how to use it properly. Plain and simple, BH's wouldn't come here if this forum wasn't a great place for carbine tactics. Those who know the carbine best are, of course, the Carbineers, soyou allwill remain the focal point for this forum for a very long time to come.
