I am a BH carbineer and a carbineer, i dont have points to do medic as well, i think it is bull crap that the only way to be a effective combat guy is to be a medic as well, also commandos do need to be taken down a little due to the fact of the one shot kills and their low HAM cost. It cost a carbineer around 100 in HAM to do a shot between 1000-2000 if we are lucky, that is i think about the same as what it cost a commando to kill something one shot. Also i normally hang out on Talus to do my imperial missions, rebel commandos come to the imp base there all the time to rack up faction really quick because they can take down so many storm troopers and respawn about three feet away at the cloning facilaity. They need to be fixed or everyone brought up to that level of strength.

I'm not sure if alot of carbineers want Commando's nerfed, tweaked yes but not nerfed. The DOT is too much 1st of all (so is mind poison from CM's), yeah 26 m's... I love it how everyone talks about range and stuff... have you ever pvped more then 30 m's?? I haven't, maybe against rifleers... but with their t21's they just do 2 to 4 mind shots and it's over.


Carbineers and Commando's were broken and Commando's are fixed, maybe fire wounds might be too much, but they are designed to alot of damage. Carbineers are still waiting for a fix and maybe a better carbine (PLEASE!) and someone told me something about Some range attacks being counted as kenetic so it's doing more dmg then it's supposed to due to modifiers against range players (DEV's know about this and are trying to fix).... But Not alot of people want more nerfs, just tweak the DOT with fire for less wounds or something and fix the bugs that are already there.

i think u have a vary good idea this will stop alot of band wagon jumpers and get rid of the ppl only going for the flame tree to 1 shot ppl in pvp i think that is a great idea but i think the dot should stay on flame 1 just not be as powerfull as the DOT on flame 2 but all in all i like your ideas

wow i say stealth42 i like to no that master commando hes ither got a heck of a flamer or u had verey bad lag lol i say its the later and u must not have had any armor and u must uf ben a siting or lying pron to becous frankly a commando cant hardly do any dam to u ules ur with in 16m and to let him get in rang is kinda dumb and as for the wounds


theres a explot that makes it so a master commando can stack all 4 flams on u


and u hiting him for 800 dam meens he proply was buffed to and think if u would of ben at 32 m u would of had another shot at him and he couldint of done a thing to stop u and if ur at 64 m


u could of esly killed him long befor he got u


and commandos r also elit profesins we spend 3x as much skill points geting commando then u do geting pistoler wich meens we should esly be abel to do what u sed and more but for some reson we usly cant i say we need bufed


ill i want to no is all the resons u guys think we should be nerfd plls give herd could facts y we sould not this

First off, Maddog's first language ain't english, so lay off him!! Secondly, aye, the wounds are over done. they will be lowered. Third, the DoT is ALSO being lowered, despite my arguments against it. It is what makes us leathal. Fourth, and once again, a pistoleer (or any other elite profession) should loose 9 out of 10 times to a Hybrid combat profession!! We spend more time, more points, more creds (those charged weapons are frickin expensive!), so we deserve to be more powerful. besides, we only have 2 lines that function some what close to properly, so back off them u power-hungry over-powered morons! /end rant

Maddogs, u need to play less swg and go to school dude. Your spelling is awful. By the way shield gens wont work coz Dot cuts thru resist if u didn't know. Don't believe me? Try flamethrower dot on a rancor (100% heat resist), it'll just ignore the resist and cut thru.

Nerver had problems which commandos. Just keep them at distance. If you get into thoer special range its your fault. In fact in one other thread that is 8 Pages long commandos complain that they have the lowest damagedoutput. Which is trur since they have no armor priecring and a hugh delay. But like i said keep them at 50-60 meter which KD and posture change. Its some nice fireworks but they barely hit you.

in general, and I think I speak for all carbineers, we just want some fixes/tweaks to our own class, not asking for any nerfs.

I want commandos to lose that gay-ass one-shot crap of theirs. They already nerfed everyone elses one-shots and made commandos Gods. And before you point out how a carbineer can own a commando, think about it. All a commando has to do it get off one good hit for 1400plus damage to any PC and kill it. When a carbineer fights he's not only fighting his enemy but trying to keep from killing himself.
