They cant spend 1/2 hour doing an across the board change to the HAM multipliers for carbineer skills, which they have known needs doing for months, but they can design, code and in house test a totally new system for special attacks?

Notice- the dev's haven't told any profession "We dont agree with what you think" all they say is "we'll look into that and get back to you"

So what i'm getting to is, for whatever reason dev's dont consider carbine ham costs a problem. One would also think they consider chargeshot2 to be too strong if it were fixed. I tend to agree, but huff and puff because i'm mastering carbine and I know I could use my area dizzy + area knockdown and own the whole tusken fort myself.

I'm not taking either side, because I know the carbine community is basically a bunch of whining, complaining, and crying pansies (with semi-good reason) and because I frankly don't care too much either way.

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

I'm new to SWG and I have read just about every profession forum to gather enough information in order for me to decide what kind of character to make.

Every profession forum whines like there's no tomorrow, regardless of if their profession is indeed broken or not.

But then again, pretty much the point to discussion forums is to whine if you think about it... Its a way to identify problems and hopefully find some sort of solution.

Wow, am I ever not fond of being insulted. Even indirectly. What's funny here is, in some people's eyes, anyone can be called a baby or whiner, just for stating problems and facts. Just for seeing something wrong. Maturity seems to bea foreign thing on these boards, both from posters and people who post about posters. Hernandez, Kholos, keep your insults to yourselves unless someone insults you directly. A lot of people will take offense to being placed in your little group generalization. Especially if you're new.

Either I wasn't clear, you misunderstood me, or both.

Anyway, I wasn't insulting anyone. Read over the forums. People whine/complain/etc. in all of them. Some with good reason to. Some without a good reason. I've done it too.

If you still take offense to what I've posted, then I wonder if you don't just walk around getting offended by just about everything.

I've been over the forums quite a bit. I find that about 2/3 of the posters do have a tendency to whine and cry, and about 1/3 actually make concise, thoughtful, well organized posts. My compliments to them, and they are the reason I say that the forums shouldn't be generalized into that 2/3 category. Those of us with sense act like we have it. Little smart-aleck comments like"If you still take offense to what I've posted, then I wonder if you don't just walk around getting offended by just about everything.", are the indirect insults I mean. No, I don't just walk around being insulted by just about everything, and to suggestthat is insulting, no? I like it when kids think they're smart.

See how that works?

I wasn't being a smart aleck, I just couldn't believe how badly you took my post. Really, if a post that doesn't even apply to you and isn't really insulting anyone, gets you all offended, you must get offended alot. I wasn't saying that is necessarily the case, which is why I started the sentence with the word 'if'.

I like it when kids think they're smart.

You're being hypocritical, see how that works? Ending your post with a clearly 'smart-aleck' comment isn't the best way to get your point across of 'I don't like people posting smart aleck comments'.

I find that about 2/3 of the posters do have a tendency to whine and cry

Exactly what I was saying!

Anyway, I hope you find a way to relax, because it was never my intention to get anyone riled up like you apparently are. And no, that comment is not supposed to be a smart aleck one.

Look how many times you made me use the term 'smart aleck'!

People have to remember that other than creating a ticket in game this is the only place where people can come and complain about problems that they see with the profession that they have and hope that something will get done about it. There are good arguments from people that will say if we complain enough maybe they will do something about it. I know that TH has been in this forum so it doesn't bother me to see people whining and complaining about problems in the hopes that TH will read them sometime and maybe light a fire hot enough for him to do something about it. Alas that is just my opinion and observation.

Ok back to the topic at hand, I agree that it does seem to be a disgrace that SOE can't even take a little time to fix something like HAM costs. I mean out of the issues that we do have fixing the HAM costs is up close to the top and would likely be really easy to fix. At least easier than the specials I would have to assume. At least we would feel we got some lovin and maybe we all would complain a little less! Well I would anyway. Honestly it worries me with the combat changes that they are trying to implement if they leave the HAM costs the same for carbineers.
