ee3, dh17snub and a high ham, high damage laser. I use the ee3 (2.9 sp 110-255 dam) for most up close action, the laser for a few opening salvos ( w/ armor it takes 1/2 my health and action with one special ). The DH17snub is for light fast specials and up close. I swap the ee3 and dx6 depending on vulnerability but keep the ee3 by default (i use the dx infrequently).

What on earth do you use an elite for? I've never seen one worth equiping. I wonder what i've missed, will go check them out again next time i'm at a weapons vendor

I carry em all but use the DXR6 for PvM almost exclusively as most mobs have more acid vuln than energy and its better than a ee3 so unless its an odd mob with killer vuln to heat ill keep the dxr. Use the elite for pvp though....Only use a Dh17 for killing bases to save my good powerups and ware and tare on good weapons. The rest are just sitting there. Use a laser on some realy high armor mobs but for the most part i hate the laser

and uhmm.. yeah.. that's what I carry... but since I'm perma-buffed... hams aren't an issue for me.

Guess I'm the only nutcase with an E11 (1.4 speed 84-187 damage)... Armor piercing and extreme high speed (flat 1.0 with a 33% speed powerup)more than cover the lower damage in PvE. I've taken Novamarine's advice and retired the DH17 to lairbusting.

I still back the Elite as the PvP weapon of choice unless you are fortunate enough for a100+ low-range Laser carbine.

I bought an elite carbine once, then after using it I relized it was a big mistake. I mainly use my Laser Carb. DH17 to conserve on HAM, and EE3 or DXR6 when mobs are resistant to acid. In pvp I use my Laser mainly.

I have all forms of carbines except for DXR6, but I only use a DH17, like you said, to land specials, and a speed sliced w/ a dmg powerup Laser Carbine, and damage sliced w/ a damage powerup.

i use an elite because i like the tighter dmg spread, a dxr6 because lots of mobs are vuln to acid, and an ee3 for heat.

i cant stand elite and thos acid ones, there slow and cant do crap for dammage, so i just carry around a krayt laser with a dammage slice a reg laser with a speed slice and a EE3 for PvP because its fast and you rarly run into someone with heat layerd legs
