Is the title a play on words or somthing I mean come on, here is the way I look at it, leave it the same, but make it deal cold damage and give it a blue animation. Done, now its a usefule gun =)

yes elites arent exactly elite, but they are sorta good. the higher min damage kinda makes up for their overall **edit**tyness, but not enough to actually use em.

sure for actual fighing it is weak but it is the coolest looking gun in the game so thats got to count for something call it an extra 50 damage that would almost make it as good as my crate of lazers for avg damage

They do look very nice, but I just wet myself when I look at a slug-thrower.

i got a good carbine, its not an elite because those blow.

There is nothing elite about the elite.

The only thing good about it is there isn't much difference bettween min/max so you are guaranteed consistent damage vice a laser carbine which I have seen fluctuate from 300-6k on a single creature (that was using scattershot + a tuned muzzle)

However the slow speed, low damage, and high ham keep it from being one of my favorites

it is my fave carb.

mine has 3.4 speed, and about 105-180 damage.

with normal shots ideal about 200-270 damage.

i carry 3 carbines, my elite for most of the time, my laser for AP 2 and my DXR6 for acid damage

I admit normal elites sucks, but my krayt ( for PvP ) is awesome

2.5/123-284 ( krayt ) / HAM of a laser ( can't remember the stats )

I can do up to 800 in PvP with crippling shot

And spam legshot3 with 200-350 dmg ( killed a master commando the other day AT CLOSE RANGE, he was furious that stun isn't bad at all )

I like the very high low damage, in PvE crippling does 2000-3500, so no wasted shots

My usual carbine is a DH17

2.1/101-343 ( non krayt, but with powerup ) /HAM of a normal DH17

here's another Krayt Elite Carbine user checking in...

actually...i've got three Krayt Elites, and 5 krayt Lasers. all base tissue, all sliced, and i almost never use powerups (i *only* use them on Krayt hunts, or on rare pre-planned raids)

the 2 Elites i use most are 2.4, 105-230, and 3.0, 133-289.

i love 'em.
