Guess you haven't tried out a Rifleman on TC-EP3 yet have you.....
And nothing on TC-EP3 can give anybody any accurate impression on how any prof will balance with any other prof on a LIVE server.....

I have been rifleman and fought rifleman, carbineer > rifleman. And yes you are right Iebas regarding possible changes but as of right now even with the high action costs from carbines I have not lost with carbineer/bh/x4xx combat medic and I did a jihad on bestine overt rebel against at-st's and imps 14 imps later I finally died from no mind or action and burst run was 4mins away from coming back.
Now that is a great profession, I can do that in live with rifles right now. Carbine is oh so sweet, love it just like I did in summer 2003.

Hey, wasn't we the FOTM back when charge shot1 was broken so it allways KD'd?
And then again when all our specials barring leg shot 3 was fixed and we suddenly had a cone shaped KD?
Of course, we never truly became FOTM then, I highly doubt we will in the future.

I've tested a smattering of all professions and I find that Everything's a lot more equal. I dont really see Carb as getting a definate "FOTM" category more than Commando. Also, melee still way out-damages Ranged, but they made melee actually require you to be close combat, which makes ranged users win against melee.

Action costs are killer though. When I lose duels its because I cant attack anymore, not because I wasnt clobbering the other guy. Why do carbines have more action cost than the other weapons?

Its good to hear. I have 4 toons with a wide variety of professions and I can tell who is an advocate to their community and who likes the forum title.
As a side, is there a list of the carb weapons with their certs, and whether they will be craftable, loot only, or craftable with looted components? For example I hear the Proton Carbine is MBH only and is a loot/quest item. I will be going a mix of MCarbs and BH so Id like to know what to look forward too.
