Always nice to see us showing them how its done.
For a major PvP engagement, Burstrun and run circles around them or away from the largest concentration of enemies and lay down area effect attacks and ChargeShot2s to thin out your pursuers. Unfortunately, we're not a stand and fight profession.
My recommendation would be to get a handle on as many Carbine Accuracy While Moving SEAs as you can. Go with +1s or +2s since they are fairly cheap and easy to replace when your armor dies and stack the bejebus out of them. Once you're better than +10 Accuracy on the go, you can hold your own in most small engagements. Just keep those feet working.
For the big fights, lose yourself in the crowd and lay down state effect attacks and ChargeShots. Support other fighters in these cases, since heavy pounding isn't our forte`.
Hell yes, well done mate ...thats what i am talking about....carbineer crap??? hell no duel with us anytime...WE WILL SUPRISE YOU!!!!!
Good Luck, long live the carbs

My combat style is mostly based on juggling with enhanced E11 and Laser Carbine...
here's one cool exemple of what I did on the rifleman/fencer...
We started around 20M from each other... We each had 80% resist armors except to stun...
-took 2 brandy and engaged the duel.
- I simply shot without moves to see if I was missing or not... I was missing. So I took some air cake +40 ACC and bingo I was hitting him...
- He was still using Rifle so I didn't bother to KD or action shot and simply concentrated on sticking Stun on him with AutoSingle 2... took about 3 shots and then dizzy and blind sticked.
- He decided to use a stun baton and rushed me... OUCH... so I took a steak +40% resist to the next 50 attacks I think. Now his stun baton was not as much effective.
- So he is using a melee weapon now, why bother... I made sure his dizzy and stun was still sticked and did charge shot on him..
- He got Kded and I spamed one crippleshot.. using this move is playing with fire because it's so random but I got a great health shot with it so I then went back to autosingle 2 and some burst shot 2 on side.
- He decided to get back up and rush me again.. I quickly did peace, switched to my enhanced carbine and shot a few autosingle 2 and a few action shot 2. so now he had a bleed on health and action.
---- At that point, he was half dead and I was already starting to feel better.
- Mister decides to rush me, well time to taste some action shot 2. he get's a posture change and I just start spamming cripple shot with my laser carbine. He gets back up and takes a jawa stun rifle... so I take a muon just to make sure I have enough mind because at that point i'm playing versus a clock. I started to use a tactic that involves moving when not shooting and standing when shooting. It requires some practice but it keep your aim higher and defence too.
- My charge shot is ready but I don,t use it yet, I try to keep the blind sticked on him and stun... The second I see a dizzy, I do another charge shot... he then died
I came out of this duel with more then 90% of my health and action and around 60% of my mind, the mind really took a hard beating but the muon made sure to keep it up high.

I think your first line sums it up. I too have had some luck against Rifleman, until my Canape wears off......but of course I can't damage him in 80% comp armor, doc and food buffs.

Well some of those profs should NEVER lose to a Carbineer, at least in the current state of the game. Rifleman/CM for instance..... one-on-one duel he should NEVER lose let alone get owned by a Carbineer. He can easily punch through your armor and heal all three pools to stop any damage you could do with these average weapons.
Nice wins, but this is a bit fishy to me.
