Thread: Need help with a bug hunt.
- Weapon switching gets in the Queue so this gives the feel of a delay beforehand, but personally it seems to be after...of course testing must be done

- The weapon delay seems much shorter than the armor delay, but that may be from the number of pieces of armor compared to one weapon.
I think the way to test this is get a Special that you fire at 1.0 seconds (or an integer multiple of that) and queue up a weapon change and look at the combat log. And remember the animation/graphics lag can NEVER be trusted.....too bad the Combat Log isn't more reliable, but I love getting a damage number on ScatterShot2 now.
BTW, this will be extremely tough to test, especially on Dant where there is often a 5-15 sec lag on graphics.....

To change from one weapon to second: no delay.

I think 100% of the people will disagree with this one.....and remember the graphics have LAG....
Well see, that's the thing. In Combat, if feels like it's a pre-delay, but it could be a post (in which case, the graphical 'yellowing' of items in your toolbar simply throws you off.)
But Brilyn is right in stating that if youre standing there and switch from your current weapon to the next, it's instant. You just won't be able to switch to a 3rd without experiencing delay. It's definitely post-delay in these instances..
..which makes me believe all delay is post-switch.
