I forget the numbers off the top of my head, but it shouldn't be huge Speed Capped.

In terms of damage, as was stated above, CrippleShot is better than LegShot3 if you're speedcapped, but topping Legshot with an action DoT and bleeds should drain it considerably faster.
My guess is his/her foods and equipment simply wore off once you switched to CrippleShot and it was just bad luck. Try dueling an armor-less friend or one without steak and a PSG. You should see some noticeable damage on LS3.
This was my first thought as well, as i've not noticed any problems with legshot3, and use it quite often in concert with actionshot(s), seems to work fairly well.

Shot #2 cripplingshot 3000 damage.
Shot #3 fullautosingle2 2300 damage.
considering in all shots were fired at the same range upon a KD'd tusken

What you fail to understand or bother to read.....LegShot1/2/3 hit Action 100% of the time whereas the others hit H/A/M on a 3/2/1 ratio.
And you have to use DPS based on the facts and formula in the FAQ, not just a single random shot.
And you have to figure in Speed.

We don't have quantitative data, but LS3 should have higher accuracy for landing damage and stun.....but it is mostly identical to LS2 and LS2 has absolutely zero advantage over LS3, so use LS3.

Just so you know i do understand this, but it is probably one of carbines weakest attacks and that is what the origional post was about if i am not mistaken.
I do use legshot in certain situations such as if a player or creature has little action left, I'm glad we have it but like i said kind of weak

Thanks TA, one more question...do higher level specials cost me more on my HAM or is that all determined by the weapon I use and my secondary stats. In other words will LS3 cost more HAM to use than LS2?

The HAM modifiers for each Special are listed in the FAQ along with the Speed and Damage Modifiers ![]()
