Can anyone first tell me if MBH+Master Carbineer is a wise choice, second, if it is, what else should I put with it for great pvp? I'm going to obviously be fighting a lot of Jedi...and I hope Carbineer is good these days.

There is way more info to be found both on just the first side of this forum as with the search commando (with a tiny bit of patience it works...) than i could write together here.

So i advise to take a look into the many informative postings already here.

Well..I was going to do MBH, MCarb, Combat Medic 4xxx however in Publish 21, they are hitting the medic field hard with a nerf to the normal bacta shot. It will do significantly less healing. The advanced bacta shot is a MASTER DOCTOR special so thats out, and while you could use the Advanced Bacta Toss for heals, it roots you when you cast it so fighting a jedi full template you would be toast.

Personally I am thinking of going MBH, MCarbs, Pistols 0404. Check the stats out on it. Incredible defense, Incredible accuracy. Plus you get root yourself along with the carbs tree specials. Might be worth a look into.

Without any medic in your template your going to die, plain and simple. Even if we do get a huge nerf to the bacta shot I'd still reccomend taking 4000cm. Because vs. any full template jedi they will always catch up to you and lay on the damage. Remember that a mls with armor break on you can do close to 1000damge approximently every 2 secs. So there's no wayin hell your stims are going to keep up with the jedi. Either your root will miss and you wait 45s to use it again or it will hit and the jedi force runs up to you and pwns you while your still waiting on a cool down timer.

Hmmm...good point. What about doing something like MBH, MCM, Carb x4xx ?

Any suggestions on that? Or do you feel that MBH, MCarb, CM 4000 is probably still the best way to go?

Thanks again.

With good Stim D and Ruby Bliel, you can also get some good healing on you... but these can still be combined with medic abilities.

Anyways, the medical abilities soon will get nerved, so nobody knows yet how things will turn out.

Or in more clear words:

So now you have moved to MBH, MCM, Carb x4xx ? How does this go against fully templated jedi? When you said you had MBH, MCarb, Pistols x4x4 were you able to beat full temp jedi's as well?

Can you give more details my friend?

1. i actually dropped bh completely now im mcarb/mcm/pistols 0004 with some fs trees. i really love my current template, but im not nearly the tank i was with the bh temp. i am more support for base raids and mass pvp (heals & rez)...although i can hold my own against some ppl (pref. non-jedi). the ability to mass heal others as well as freq healing ur self is nice..plus all the states u can apply.

2. i've beaten mpowers/msaber jedi alone...with the right foods...bc u constantly pound them with damage while out of saber range (root/snare), trick is to outlast their force (regardless of template imo). But i found myself very tough against other templated ppl (only prob is not healing myself as frequently). keep in mind i dropped this template about a month ago, so i dont if there's been any significant changes.

so in the end my current template (mcarb.mcm.pistols 0004) is a great support temp, but a little weak on the 1 vs 1....and the mbh/mcarb/pistols 0404 is a solid fighter 1 vs 1 and in mass pvp...but healing urself maybe an issue (foods and spices can help fix the issue tho).

i am mbh/m carbs, and slowly ebbing my cm xxx4 into fs skills.

as mbh/mc/cmxxx4 tho, i could take full template jedi who didn't have mdef.

electrolyte drain and crippling shot stack for a VERY slow moving jedi.

i have also dueled rifleman/bh templates and won every time.

Yeah Hopfully with a BE shirt I'll still be able to do 600 bact shot. Stim d's and ruby beil are good.
