Why use /aim 3 times?

You get the modifier icon once youve done it once... Unless the benefits somehow stack.

If they do, they don't show up on the accuracy numbers beside target name...

I think TH said that you could stack /aim up to 3 times, but while I was on TC-Ahazi last night I did not see that it helped. I got the /aim bonus after just using it once and the numbers didn't change on the 2nd and 3rd /aim.

yes carbine aiming does add, though im not sure what it caps at, (i personally don't think carbine aiming caps kinda like carbine accuracy) i suggest using the /aim command /burstrun and if you have novice brawler /intimidate /warcry. (get your target stunned as soon as possible) throw a dizzy, and fcuck their knees up. (go for a posture down.) oh and mixenmatch the above skills for obvious reasons not in that order.

Yes aiming stacks up to 3 times of ALL ranged professions and is good forsomething like the next 4 shots afterwards. The accuracy bonus is incredible and cutsthrough defenses. The downside is that it also roots you while you are doing it even if running. I believe it will pull you out of burst run as well just like the CM "throw" animation.

Can you provide some testing and evidence for the effect of Carbine Aiming? I have been wondering about this for a few months myself but can find no evidence from anybody that this Skill Mod actually works or even how it is intended to work. And the /aim command has its own separate Skill Mod (General Ranged Aiming)that any Ranged Prof can use, not just Carbineer via Carbine Aiming. And yes I know what the descriptions in-game say, but we have all learned long ago not to trust those

BTW, it must cap at +50 because the skill boxes give us +25 and SEA's can give another +25.

Wonder if it has the same effect with sabre-block, probably not but might be worth checking.

Uh, I'm pretty sure /aim only improves your accuracy for the NEXT attack round.

If your thinking "I /aim three times, so my next three attacks are gonna be with amazing accuracy!"

I don't think so.. I think you would have to go like this

/special-carbine-move

/aim

/special-carbine-move

/aim

/special-carbine-move

/aim

Watch what happens when you type /aim..the little accuracy numbers next to the person's name goes to +50 or improves significantly for one attack. Therefore if you want to attack again, you must aim before the next attack....

Kind of like center of being. I wish I could type /center 200 times and turn center of being on for an hour straight...doesn't work like that.

I have all my combat macros set up like that, just makes making the states on some shots so much more likely to get through/stick.
