I recently mastered carbineer and have the BH carbine tree for accuracy and speed as well. With 200 accuracy defense stackers are not a problem and with the new stocks and scopes from the Imp themepark I can get a really good laser carbine made with more minimum damage, woundchance, and ideal accuracy - perfect for PvP... The only problem is going head on with a person at close range because of our lack of defenses, but in a group we are very, very powerful in PvP IF you use the profession correctly. When the next publish comes defense stacking will be nerfed and our accuracy and fixed specials will DOMIANATE PvP. I would suggest to everyone who PvPs to keep carbineer until next patch or you will regret it.

You're kidding right? He's not allowed to spend the extra skill points leftover from Carbineer?!
I'm just saying that if you are carbineer + BH carbine tree, that's a hell of a lot better than plain master carbineer.

Well thats what I meant by this thread, if carbineers want to be powerful in PvP they need to know how to use the Carbineer profession and their weapons correctly. I'm just trying to promote some positive attitude for the current carbineers looking to be powerful in PvP because I'd hate to see all these people give up the skills and find out next patch more people use the carbineer profession in PvP and are powerful. Granted I do understand that carbineer alone is very weak, and thats whyI do hope that the devs fix the specials like they say they will, but then again I used to be a MBH so I know how often the devs break their promises..for 6 months straight...

I can kill anything and everything in PvP, rifleman/MCMs and rifleman/TKMs no exception. I just have slightly more problems with those 2 than the other templates.

I'm a master carbineer now...
I can take down a MBH... if I'm buffed and they're not...
I can take down aMaster Pistoleer... if I'm buffed with muon and they're not.
I can take down a TK master... if I'm buffed, with muon, brandy, and Ithorian mist... and they're not.
I can't take down a Rifleman... no matter what I do.
Maybe when you 'stack' your bounty hunter skills on top of carbineer you're unbeatable... but as a straight carbineer, forget it. It's fun, but I'm way underpowered compared to almost anybody.

Are they removing defense stacking, or stat stacking in general? If they remove stat stacking in general, BH/Carbineer will be screwed

i have killed every template at least once. Some are hard but all are possable..Im master carb and master doc even so no godly template here...just have to do it right.

You seem to forget once defense stacking is nerfed counter-attack goes with it, or does it? Being a BH carbineer is MUCH better than Carbineer, you get fire and Dizzy. And don't even start about the Pwnzorness of the Imp themepark loot. Not all of us are Imps. What am i suppose to do? I'm a rebel! So i guess i'm just screwed then? Without charge shot how can i function, without BH carbine. Cripple doesn't do much more than Burst 1,I did a PvP test with a fellow carbineer.I was wearing good 60% composite and before my resists he was hitting 300 with burst 1 and 400 with cripple, before resists. I thought Cripple was suppose to Pwn? What am i suppose to do now?

A BH with Carbineer is not a Carbineer.
They are a Carbineer/BH Hybrid.
To say that the Carbineer is power when you are talking about the Carb/BH hybrid is misleading.

Yeah I must say there is a huge difference between master carbine and a hybrid master carbine with thebh carb line.

1.) No defenses are only capped
2.) Fire knockdown does not make a fire dot
3.) Be patient and next patch the dizzy on carbineer skillz will work
4.) You can have an imp weaponsmith make the weapon for you
5.) Cripple modifies at 7.5x the damage, but if your gun has a low amount of minimal you wont notice the difference
6.) Be patient for next patch
