What should our next question for the 19 questions be?


Also, I am trying to get clarification from Thunderheart on the exact source of the info he provided to us last week.

Possibilities include the "clarify accuracy vs accuracy while moving" (read: skill cap not included, is there ever a case where a +10 AWM is better than a +10 accuracy).


And "we don't care about the cause is a bug or not, but how does scatter shot 2 work in regards to AP-AR, damage mitigation, foods, armor resists, and everything else.Is this the same as combo hit and scatter hit?"


Both would need to be phrased much better though.

I kinda like the accuracy vs accuracy while moving question.


More specificly does accuracy apply at all times with accuracy while moving being an additional modifier while in motion or does the accuracy modifer stop once you are in motion and is then replaced by accuracy while moving?

I agree with the Accuracy vs Accuracy While Moving question. That seems to be the hot topic, besides ScatterShot2, and it would apply to more profs than just Carbineer. And since we have the best Corr and the best Forum we need to ask a question that helps more than just Carbineers

I'd like some clarification of ScatterShot2 myself.


Its becoming a hot item in our arsenal and I'd like to have a definitive answer on whether it is working properly (I respect TAF's research, but there are still some open questions about the bugs it has) and what can be done to correct the display issue.


The LAST thing I want to go through again is the firestorm we went through with spamming ChargeShot1.

Lets please address ALL OPEN issues of ScatterShot2 right now in my Official Testing thread.....


It is NOT something we CAN take to the Devs before the Combat Balance.....we would look better to not ask any question at all than ask details on ScatterShot2....

What about something regarding how our role seems to be the designated state-sticker, but we're not very good at it because our fullauto attacks are not very reliable.

I honestly don't know what to ask to the devs... Ta is right about one thing... if we ask about scatter... we will be confused to hell when combat balance is out :/

Along these same lines, what about us getting Intimidate on WildShot instead of Stun which we already have the whole FullAuto Series for that.


This probably isn't the place to ask for new things, but we need to put the bug in the Devs ear somehow

I love this idea but I don't think this is the time to float it. From what I read there will be seperate discussion threads specificly related to the combat rebalance prior to it going live. That may be a more appropriate place for us to get some attention on this. Also I totally agree we CANNOT ask about scatterShot at this time. As much as i would love to put this issue to bed there is no way the Devs are going to give us the answers we are looking for. I'd bet my +25 speed SEA's we'd get "ScatterShot has the ability to hit up to 3 pools at a time" for an answer. I'd rather ask something we may get a usefull answer to even if it's not such a hot topic.

I really don't know what I can come up with to ask until the damned revamp runs us over.



1) ScatterShot2, useless to ask, as reasonably pointed out.

2) FullAuto state issues, same deal.

3) Intimidate on WildShot, same deal

4) New damage type, already shot to pieces.

5) New weapon, already shot to pieces.

6) HAM costs, pointless due to the revamp.



Maybe a dubya-tee-eff about what happened with our LegShot3 fix? That's at least a REAL issue.

LegShot3 is easily answered right here....


The Devs could not release a SECOND pre-Combat Balance fix to Carbineer Specials without doing other/all professions too, which is the Combat Balance itself. And I am sure there are other Specials for other profs that have been fixed and just waiting for Publish 11 to release them.


Look at the big picture and it is just common sense to NOT fix LegShot3 yet......I know SOE does not use common sense very often but they luck into it every once in awhile

The problem I have about this question, and the "how are we supposed to be state stickers if we can't stick states" is they aren't questions, they are requests/demands. It's confrontational, and while it feels good to air it in the public where everybody can see it, it will not get a meaningful answer? (Do you really expect TH to say something like "yes, we had a patch, but Joe Developer accidentally forgot a null pointer check, so we had to roll back a line of sight change and this got caught up in it too"? )


I personally would be very hesitant to ask a loaded question like "when will this be fixed" or "have you considered that", as the answer will almost undoubtably be ambiguous at best.



You know, I wonder... if everybody here went into the marksman forum and voted there as well (because we *are* all have marksmen) if we could get two questions asked. Like asking the Accuracy vs AWM question there leaving a another question for the carbineers...
