About 10 more ham usage than burstshot 1

Usually around 700-2000 damage with a laser carbine. Definately a worthwhile shot for PvP right now, but it probably will be worthless after the patch.

I just got that skill last night. I was impressed. I don't have burst shot though, and people keep talking about that one. I only had the chance to fire off 20-30 shots last night to test it before i logged..... but the best shot was 7x the max damage of my laser carbine. (i was fighting armorless mobs).

FullAutoSingle2, which i used before, did up to 5.25x max weapon damage on the high end.

Oh, and Crippling has less HAM cost and only uses your action pool.

Also, it appeared to fire slower, but that also could have been server lag since Flurry was acting up.

Oh yeah, crippling is an area-effect weapon. Meaning, you affect the mob's HAM pools depending on where you hit it. head=mind, torso=health, legs=action.

falkyrk thats not area effect thats random damage. Are effect would be killing five rebel in one shot because they were standing close to one another.full auto area is an example ofarea effect.

It's all in the terminology. The weapon affects areas of the body.

I believe the correct term for collateral damage is area of effect. i said area-effect. and you guys knew what i mean because i explained it. so let's not post drivvel around here.

Isn't collateral damage when you destroy something that you didn't mean to destroy?

Well just to avoid confusion let's use the standard terminology. Area of Effect (AoE) means it attacks multiple enemies if they are close together. Let's leave it at that.

Crippling is what I use for PvP, the only problem is it it can hit a random pool, and can hit all 3 pools(or it hits 1 , and damages the other2 very very slightly).

And contrary to what some say, it does not seem to hit health or action more, its pretty random. I've even had it hit mind some times.

Also crippling shot does insane amounts of wounds. I shot my guildmate for 1050 damage with 1 shot, and gave him over 300+ wounds. This is with an E11 too, a laser carbine or better would do some serious damage.

A shame there are no upper level carbines on my server.. best we get is an E11/EE3.

Its the best for PvP, get a high minimum damage carbine like an DXR6 125-160 and you'll do 1000+ damage everytime. It doesn't matter what pool it hits unless they have theres stats really messed up.
