Hello. As you can tell from my subject I'm going for carbineer/mbh. Currently I am Marksman 0433, Scout 2010, Novice medic. Any advice for grinding up to novice carbineer? What weapon should I use and creatures I should hunt. I can afford ubese armor and buffs which allow me to stand up against some of the mobs on dant. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I was told to grind to Master Carbineer first because it will enable me to grind the carbine tree of bounty hunter faster. Any help is greatly appreciated and I'm on the bria server if any was wondering. Thanks in advance.

Actually you want to get BH Carbs before getting anything past Novice Carbineer, other than that, the FAQ outlines leveling in Carbineer
I used CH Pets to level in Carbineer as you need to keep your distance to be accurate with Carbines. And if you can't get good enough buffs and armor, try to find somebody to go out with you. Of course that is hard in today's world of "solo groups", but take a look at the List of Carbineer Players for your server and give them a shout

WoW TA... 11minutes. Nice! You sure are a good correspondent for this profession!
I have another character on Eclipse who can do credit swaps so money hasn't been much of a problem. I knew me not reading the FaQ in the stickies would come back to haunt me.
I see correspondents get aggravated when members don't read it first. Reading now!

I wasn't upset at all.....if I was you would have CLEARLY recognized the FLAME
All Corrs are very used to repeating /faq it is just part of the job. But it is more fun to have the person stand to your left in-game and type /faq
I also suggest you browse thru the first 6-8 pages, just skimming the Titles and you will find posts talking about BH/Carbineer.

I suggest that you go up the BH carb tree first. This gives you very fast speed and great accuracy, just remember to use the combat xp tree in Carbineer for the AoE attacks which will help you out in the long run. Once you get Carbines 4 in BH, you'll basically be home free from there.

I'll echo the BH Carbineer tree first, though I did the grind with the benefit of having long since Mastered Carbineer.
Once you hit BH Carbines II, you will have a very effective KD attack that will buy you enough time to get some distance between you and what you're shooting. Most of the time, I don't even need a tank, just put the FireKD on the mob and blast away. On non-humanoid mobs, it only buys you a few seconds, but with the right carbine, a few seconds is all you need.

If you are planning on both, BH Carbine is a much better first choice since you get specials, speed and accuracy all in one tree. As opposed to being spread across 4 trees. However as a first priority i would recomend getting the novice carbineer box, since it will give you argueably one of the best specials we have. /fullautosingle2, that and /legsot2(3) are definitely your big tickets specials for grinding.

I did my entire grind (BH 0440/MC/Pis 0044) unarmoured and for the most part on Endor or dantooine, with the occasional stint of insanity on dathomir. With a good set of buffs, smack in some brandy, your set to unload whatever you like all day long. Keep some muon/pixie and canapes handy for when life gets rough though. Being unarmoured makes things pretty interesting at times, but with a good weapon on side most mob's should drop in a short order. Having come from TK/Commando (capt'n all rounder) i'd decided to do it unarmoured for the challenge, yeah many times i went home whimpering from the astronomical wounds, but I learnt a lot. I still haven't found the art of duelling unarmoured, but i often go group PvP'ing unarmoured. It sort of re-inforces what i see the point of the BH carb, don't mess around, you need to kill em fast, or bug out.
Goddamit it that was a long ramble full of crap.... ahh well my two cents...

I agree with everyone here....Bh carb tree first FireKD is killer in NPE and then go Master carbs (it makes Inves much eaiser) next i suggest you go llc (very easy grind) then go pistol and last go investagation (its the hardest.) To me this is the fastest and easiest way to get MBH/ master carbineer. Even though i didnt grind like that i wish i had.

Remember it's gonna be 40k combat xp just for novice BH, so there's a potential 400k carbines. I'm a MBH, MC and i have an affiliation with gurks, especially if your using ubese. They'll get you anywhere between 3-5k xp each and natural lairs can spawn upwards of 20,often a lot more. You'll stand a chance of gurk king hide also and can sell any resources you get on the bazaar for 3-6cpu, with gurks that'll be a decent amount of resource too. But everyone will have their favorite grind some swear by hurtons or quenkers. But tbh if your going master of both try not to grind it too much, by the time your MBH you'll have a lot of the carbines already.
ooh my first post, hello people
