Thread: Carbineer Master Box

"I propose the new Master Level Attack be called "Winchester" it may not be star warsy but this is a command given in order to unload all you have on the target, it is used and any ex or current Marine or Army troops out there knows how much that command makes you feel good. Nothing like being behind a chain gun in a Pave Low and hear "Winchester""

"Grazing fire- designed to lay down suppressive fire that will be no more then 1m in height traversing from left to right. basicly used so if anyone is dumb enough to get up from cover and attack they get cut in half"

Disintegrating Blast: Single Target. In essence, this would be fullauto3. Higher chance to stun, dizzy and blind with a higher damage modifier.

Eviscerating Volley : Single Target. In essence, this would be crippleshot2. Higher damage modifier than crippleshot.

A variation on this would be to make it a special attack, somewhat along the lines of the "overcharge shot" series. This could be a short burst of attacks that automatically occur at the speed cap, at the cost of damaging the weapon. (All that heat and vibration can't be good for it.)
Disintegrating Blast -
When I was a master BH, Carboneer 0403, Carbines rocked and I used mine in pvp 80% of the time (and won 80% of the time easy), it just plain rocked. Now, why did they rock? Real good speed, incredible accuracy (+180 with that mix) and the ultimate carbine shot out there, /sprayshot.
Full auto single 2 does not come close to this shot. They both do the same thing, but /sprayshot often stuck all 3 states in the first shot, almost always in 3 shots. And it had a nice low ham cost and low re-load time. The next best carbine shot to follow of course is /crippleshot, which we already have.
So, give us something like Disintegrating blast, it would have to go at master in order to keep the BH's from getting to justifiably upset by carboneers getting there best shot. Or, maybe adjust the shot, have it do a little less damage than sprayshot but have the same chance of landing the state effects. Or, take the blind off and put intimidate on it instead.
I feel for the BH's so I would hate to just duplicate there best shot, but after being a carboneer for a little while now and all but nothing left of BH, I am amazed by our utter lack of power and we could truly use something like Disintegrating blast in order to justify us.
Now, one other thing I would like to see, is a little higher ranged defense at master, maybe an extra 20 points, nothing huge, but just a little something to help out. No extra melee defense needed really, I try to not let them get that close to me.
Please vote!
For the people adding all new ideas. We had a monsterthread 2 weeks ago on this topic. While I am not going to say you cannot post new ideas, please consider that I am not taking those to the Devs unless large numbers of players vote for your idea. In essence, unless you really hate the 4 popular options I pulled from that monster thread, I suggest you vote for one or vote and suggest a minor change.
I need to get this info to the Devs this week and we are in a way past the idea collecting stage and into the which are the best ideas stage. Does that make this task clear?

Grazing Fire: AoE/Cone. Moderate damage with a chance to add intimidate and stun.
/DisintigratingBlast
then /Fullautoon
I think both could be given to us, they are somewhat unrelated are they not? Those would be some nice bonuses at master!
winchester = fullautoON.
I renamed it so that it had a SWG-type name.
I listed the names and original message to show all these ideas were player driven. I was afraid it might confuse people and it did ![]()
