Honestly, the more I hear about it I am thinking artisan is a great profit making profession. Most of their products are either low in resource usage (weapons/food/drink), or high volume (swoops) and all of them seem to allow for a decent return on your resource costs. The skill point requirement is considerably lower than the other elite crafting profs.

If you are out for a nifty title, then go elite crafter. If you want profits, then give master artisan a look (or even 4400 artisan)...

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

It really depends on how much work you put into it.

Bioengineers (food tissues, medical enhancers& stims), Chefs, and artisans (powerups) have an advantage in that their products are consumable, so players are constantly buying. On the other hand: that means you have to be constantly manufacturing.

Weaponsmith and armorsmith probably make the most profit per-item, especially if you can get your hands on a good supply of enhancer loot(Krayt tissues, Ackley bones, etc).

On the other other hand, all those profs depend on high-quality resources (and sometimes of a very specific type which may or may not be currently available). These can be expensive to buy, or time consuming to harvest yourself.

Architect and tailor don't have to worry about resource stats for most of their products, so they can use cheap ingredients (although in architect's case they need a lot of them). On the other hand, structures and clothing never wear out, so the market is pretty stagnant.

If you're looking for "easy money", you're probably better off either loot farming (try to hit the lottery with a good tape / item) or resource harvesting.Miningdoes require a little bit of knowlege of what profs use what resources and what stats are important to that prof, but it's less work than actually crafting stuff.

My only response is this...All crafters can make a lot of money, we make what the combat classess need to farm loot, but it can be like a second job once ur name gets around.

Artisan I tried for 5 days and made just over 22 million selling swoops, not sure if it was normal or if some guilds were just stocking up.

I average 200-300k / day in pups, but then I never have less than 800 crates on my vendors either
