Thread: Question on how people make ther MULA (money).
That being said, I don't have a foot hold in the economy.
Oh, by the way, I've got 8 variously covered crystals.
Anyone need?

- Harvesting for fun and profit. Creature Harvesting can earn cash. Go to SWGCraft.com or other similar sites and check to see what Organic resources are required by what professions. Doctors need Avian Meat, and good OQ PE Avian is a surefire ticket to wealth. Other meats and hides are used by other professions, but you have to do your homework to find out which will sell.
- Looting- Loot can come from NPC's and critters. Tissues used in meds, armor and weapons can be sold as well as DOT weapons, force crystals, and SEA's. Ones you don't use for yourself can be sold outright, or auctioned off via your servers trade board.
- Missions- Running missions can add extra money to all the above. Again, homework is crucial because you need to know what loot and tissues drop from what spawns. Grouping with pets, droids, and faction pets can add to the difficulty level and hence the payout, but grouping with other players splits the payout, so solo groups are no longer effective EXCEPT to allow you to attack mobs that will drop greater loot, tissues and or harvested organics...
Homework is crucial. Knowing that Klickniksdrop armor and medical tissues but that Dalyrakes don't is important. You may find Guides to Hunting in the Ranger, Scout or Game Guides forums, as well as other websites.
Good luck.

The way I started to make big money start almost 2 years ago when I decided to master WS. I thought that this would be enough to rake in the cash, but really basic weapons dont bring in much money. I discovered that I was gonna need to get krayt/acklay/geo compnenets to make the kind of weapons that sell for a lot of money, but one problem at the time the people selling those things charged an arm and a leg, I could barely afford one krayt tissue let alone the 11 it takes to make a T21. Then the jedi update cam out and grenades went through the roof in value. I really didnt catch on to this until the beginning of janurary. I did my first run of 40 crates of Thermals and I put them on my vendor for 25k a crate(lol didnt really know what they were worth) They were gone in 1 day. I had made more money in that one day than I had in almost1.5 years of playing. Then I found out that I was way undercharging so I raised my prices and still couldnt keep them in stock so I kept raising my prices and I am now selling them at 50-75k a crate and I cant keep them in stock. But all this has really allowed me to do was bea ble to spend more money on getting krayt tissue, acklay bones and DE-10 schematics and such, I now have over 150 krayt tissue and over 120 yellow geo cubes, and I can make any weapon in the game. I have about 20 sliced krayt weapons and several sliced acklay weapons on my vendor and I am always adding more. The funny thing is that I have done over 100 million in sales this year and I currently have 12 million in the bank. So the more I make the more I spend.
Oh well wahtever you choose I think the key is going all out in that profession and being the best at that one thing that you can be, wether it is crafter, Ranger, Doc, master looter, whatever you want.
Same here. I used to sell weapons by the crate during the hologrinding craze, and managed to get up to about 40 million (by saving money, not spending it). Then I spent most of it on skill tapes, and the rest on mastering shipwright. I managed to makethe money spent on shipwright back byselling missile packs, until the prices bottomed out on them. But then I discovered the grenade craze, and I've made more money in less time selling grenades by the crate than with anything else as a WS. And I too find that the more money I earn, the faster I spend it (just mastered Armorsmith, bought my experimentation tapes andmade my first suit of RIS
). Which is too bad, because sooner or later the Devs will nerf the grenade/combat xp thing, and I'll find I hadn't saved enough, lol. Oh well, I'll find something else to make money with.
