Harvesting resources can net you a lot for a small amount of work... only problem is you need some money to get started because only the heavy harvestors are really worth buying and those cost around 100k each. JtL is a nice way, as was mentioned by others in this post. Anything else really depends on your profession(s). Weaponsmiths are making some good money right now on grenades, but most other crafting professionsusually need to get to master before they can start making decentmoney. I suggest that, if you want to make money fast, you get brawler and grind up the two-handed branch and then, once you get spin1, get buffed and find a nice cave (squills worked best for me) and grind, grind, grind. In a week or two you should be Master Swordsman, which can solo most things. Grab some loot, sell some loot (on forums if it's good enough), make some money. While there are many ways of making money in this game, I've found that this has worked the fastest for me over my varied "career." Costs, if you choose this route, are basically a 80% kinetic suit of composite armor, a few buff sessions,a few weapons (fast ones until you get some speed in the swordsman branch, and then the highest damage powerhammer you can afford), and the time it'll take to master. Like I said, this is what worked for me, but it's obviously not the only path you can take. Also, beware the combat upgrade. You have some time, andit won't ruin the profession (I hope), but realize that it is looming. Good luck with whatever profession you decide on! The first time you see that extra digit in your bank account is always exciting. Just remember to /tip some newbs when you reach the upper class

I would disagree with you there. The mediums are worthwhile. They're more economical in my opinion than the heavies. The heavies will however bring you more resources in the same time period. And the mediums are more affordable than the heavies.

Unless you're a SL, anID or a basket weaver, it shouldn't be that hard to make money.
