Just wanted a tally for the day after the vendor search, how many different people bought your products and how many of them found your vendor via the galaxy vendor search function.

I found some power for my harvester using it. How can i tell if people locate me via the search?

I know I found a bunch of well-pricedarmor componentsthat I never would have found without the galaxy search. Also found some server-best Titanium Alum at a decent price. As for how many people found my vendors, I have no idea, but so far my sales are holding steady.

I think I found a bug where apparently items that have expired are still listed on the galaxy wide search (at least, that's my guess). I found some really nice NS layers, but when I got to the vendor to buy them, the vendor was completely empty. I checked the entire house thoroughly, just to make sure there weren't any vendors in the basement or anything like that. Disappointing, I really wanted those layers, lol.

You can find if players are using the galaxy search to find your vendors by forwarding to the person who bought your item and asking them how they found your vendor or if they used the galaxy search to find your vendor.

Or You could not, and leave them alone! /lol
I know I haven't clicked to have my vendor to besearchable galaxie wide, so yea could say I've had zero customers find me via the galaxie wide search

That's the same problem that happens in the regular bazaar interface, and since this galaxy vendor search uses the same programming and same interface, of course it's going to have the same problems. The change the Devs talked about said nothing about the bazaar being fixed, so all those people who wanted it the search should have expected that Devs wouldn't fix the bazaar inteface before this went live.

I've always had pretty heavy traffic, but this has definitely upped my sales. Maybe as much as 100%. And I've sold some obscure stuff that's been hanging around one of my vendors for months, which was nice.
As a shopper, I was able to find a lot of neat resources, along with some space loot that's going to be very useful. No way I found any of this stuff without the galaxy-wide search.
I have no idea how it's affecting the game at large, but on a purely selfish level, it's been an extremely nice change.

The galaxy wide vendor search hasn't helped my sales at all. I haven't had a single new customer since the search went live. I am glad I'm not depending on it to keep the credits rolling in.
I hopped on the bazaar to see how my prices were compared to that of my competition. It's just as I thought. There is only one mining person as large as I am that are selling the resources as low as I am. There could be more, though. I was only patient enough to go through the first 1500 items. It is a little disconcerting to see me averaging one item per page.

well I have done very well since it went live, but I dont know if it is do to the galaxy-wide search or not, cause a few days before it went live my sales had picked up drastically too... I had placed 400 crates of imperial detonators on my vendor for 50k each... business started to boom form that more than anything else I think.
but anyway since it went live I have down about 8 million in sales to about 30 people, almost all new business, but for some reason I rarly get repeat business... I just get about 10 new customers a week and then they move on I have been able to keep maybe 20 customers that I would call regulars. That may be an issue with me, more than anything else, who knows.
