Thread: Am I the only one who has noticed this?

Crafters have little need for these ADK's

Now this has to have an effect on the economy, something else I've noticed is a lot of items being auctioned with minimum bids that seem way higher than you expect for the item - for example a +6 2h melee speed, minimum bid 5 million. Not so long ago you might have expected a +6 melee speed to get up to near 5 million, but minimum bid? There are many other items which are in the same situation. What I suggest is that the ADK kit has had a strong effect on the economy, whether that is a good or bad effect I'm not sure. Are there previously rich players out there who are wearing 100% ADK Armour with ADK PSG and ADK Weapon?/shudders at the thought of all thsoe credits....What do you think ?
Yeah, I'd much rather put my outfit in a droid than spend 96M (12M per kit, 8 items) for the ADKs I'd need to protect it. I took an ADK but ended up switching with a friend for a Main Systems Databank, it's much cooler.

. Us crafters can use em to good use too
to protect our crafting clothes....I'm much safer with my clothes these days, I leave em in my merchant barker when not in use and only take him out in my crafting house or other safe area.
If you were to never repair your clothing, you could die 99 times and still have 10/1000 remaining on your clothing. Unless your clothing is holding a +15 or higher skill mod (give or take), your ADK is worth more than the clothing you put it on. You could get killed 100 times (and have a piece of clothing that still works, but let's say for agruement's sake that it doesn't), then spend 15 million on another skill tape, then die 99 more times.
Congrats on finding a really stupid thing to do with30 million credits (please tell me you only did it once or twice).
Clothes retain their attributes even at 0/100 condition, there's no need to protect clothing.

That's a good point. Didn't really think about that. Guess I should figure out which of my stored LVAs I should keep and chuck the rest. I bought like 15-20 LVA and NS Lances for when I was grinding MPike, because when i was MRifle, I burned through so many rifles that it was almost one per week.

/agree
Once I earn mine it goes in the bank till I find a worthy weapon.
Why bank it at all? You can put it on any weapon you want and when you get a new weapon you just have to delete the weapon/item the kit is protecting and you will get the kit back to use on your new item. I know this works because I have done it 2 times so far on a hammer and a scythe. The only drawback is that the original item it was protecting is now gone from the game.
Many people are not doing this now though. Instead of deleting the item they are trading it to someone else for another ADK and the cost of the protected weapon. Just thought I would let you know that you do not have to "save" your kit since it is not a one use item.
