Once I earn mine it goes in the bank till I find a worthy weapon.
Why bank it at all? You can put it on any weapon you want and when you get a new weapon you just have to delete the weapon/item the kit is protecting and you will get the kit back to use on your new item. I know this works because I have done it 2 times so far on a hammer and a scythe. The only drawback is that the original item it was protecting is now gone from the game.
Many people are not doing this now though. Instead of deleting the item they are trading it to someone else for another ADK and the cost of the protected weapon. Just thought I would let you know that you do not have to "save" your kit since it is not a one use item.

Im seeing prices @ 25 million credits and rising, and given I dont care about using them, I stand to become pretty wealthy before long hehee
Should be getting my 1st one in a cpl months and the second one towards the end of the year. , by then the prices should be nice and stupidly high as they become even rarer.

Clothes retain their attributes even at 0/100 condition, there's no need to protect clothing.
While that is the case for now, there is always the looming possibility that clothing at 0 condition will at some time be rendered useless, such as no longer being valid to equip. Because 0 condition clothing can be equipped and removed at will, it keeps tailor from being highly profitable long term, just as how houses and factories may be redeeded keep architect from seeing the same flow of cash a weaponsmith will generally make.
rich and richer after adk. i spend about 200 million on adk. i use adk armor, psg and weapons. they are worth every penny. it only took me 2 weeks killing krayts to loot enough pearls and tissues to make the money back. at the same time, there was no worrying about armor or weapon decay.

I've been checking the trade forums extensivley lately, and I've seen a large number of ADK kits on the auctions. Generally going for insane money - at least 20 million. Now this has to have an effect on the economy, something else I've noticed is a lot of items being auctioned with minimum bids that seem way higher than you expect for the item - for example a +62h melee speed, minimum bid 5 million.
Not so long ago you might have expected a +6 melee speed to get up to near 5 million, but minimum bid? There are many other items which are in the same situation.
What I suggest is that the ADK kit has had a strong effect on the economy, whether that is a good or bad effect I'm not sure. Are there previously rich players out there who are wearing 100% ADK Armour with ADK PSG and ADK Weapon?
/shudders at the thought of all thsoe credits....
What do you think ?

I imagine that they'll add clothing repair kits then. As for architects, they probably won't add anything.

And some people have more than one account and they keep one and sell the others

Crafters have little need for these ADK's
