I agree with the original poster. No limit bazaar looks really cool.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this going to be implemented anyhow when your vendor will be seen Galaxy-Wide, I think the DEVs alsomentioned your going to be able to hold you own auctions (ie currently your vendor can sell for what ever you like).

I really silly that there is a perfect in game mechanism for holding auction yet I have to go out of game to auction anything over 6000. And seriously when was the last time anybody actioned anything on the bizarre ? I instant sell everything on the bizarre because its a waste of time any other way.

What about possibly only letting loot items on the bazaar have unlimited credits seeing as loot makes up quite a bit of the trade forums. That way, merchants wouldn't have to restructure their process in order to sell their stuff, and it would also keep the trade forums viable for merchants to advertise their stuff. I'm sure it wouldn't bee too awfully hard to put some kind of marker in looted items that would identify it as loot, and unlock the 6000 credit cap on the bazaar.

nope, wouldnt work. many people depend on the trade forums too much to totally eliminate them. say this happens and an auction for a nice CA you wantends at 12 PM and your at work until 5 PM. you cant win. forums make everything easy

I think for general items, it should be 10k but for auctions it can go until 100k
I hate how players can put the starting bid as max bid so I'd have max 100k, starting bid to place on a vendor is only 10k..

I have no idea. SWG has the perfect in-game auction system already in place. You can view the entire item, its stats, bid on it, see exactly when it ends, receive email notification about it, and pick it up from a bazaar terminal at your convenience. However, instead of using this to its full potential, SOE makes it useful for only nearly worthless items, pushing people out of the game and into an online web forum to buy and sell high end items. This wastes more time, more resources, makes more difficult auctions, and all for no logical reason. I believe they should just make the bazaar no limit on prices, and allow players to buy/sell items in-game through that. Games such as World of Warcraft have this in place with their auction houses---SWG has the system already in place, they just need to remove the credit limit. This would be an extremely easy thing to fix, and I believe it would greatly benefit everyone's playing experience.

i think this would be the best solution. unless they raise the item cost limit and the whole bazaar system for finding things, the trade forums are 100x better. this may be just an opinion, but i will see alot more people look at my post on the forums saying "FA: Two Handed Speed +15 CA" than if i spam it at a starport. like i said earlier, the trade forums are a dynamic way of selling things. people can access it with a computer that only has internet and no SWG on it. there are few people i know that dont use the trade forums. they are here to stay.

Unless they plan on coding a lot more options in, I don't see the bazaar being a good replacement for the trade forums. On the trade forums, we can choose to reject bidders, withdraw bids, set sniping rules, set minimum increase rules, have buyouts, and you can list a whole bunch of items without clogging up the screen too much. Opening up the cap on the bazaar will probably result in a lot more auctions as people will try to get as much as they can get or they'll use it to store stuff.
